will the update break anything on Hackintosh (vanilla) ?

update:

for Vanilla method:

after first reboot on installing the update, need to manually select boot from the update "partition" on clover screen instead of the usual boot partition... other than that everything is ok.

In my case it break the graphics after first reboot...

Found this discussion on tonymacs forum, it seems the Whatevergreen kexts causing that issue, update using the one from that forum and got back the graphics... and now my wifi (using usb tplink) also got issue.

Finally received the last piece to complete the Mac... my Wifi+Bluetooth PCiE card... of course from Lazada (better chat with seller first to check for stock)

the card:

and it recognises the wifi as:

and the Bluetooth as:

No drivers required, just install and start the Mac...

so far everything works as it is... air-drop, wifi, etc...

was waited for another M.2 SSD to clone the 10.15.1 before upgrade it direct to 10.15.3, finally bought one exact size with existing boot ssd, use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the 10.15.1, update the kext, and the 10.15.3 update process went smoothly - after 2 restart i think and need to standby during boot up to manually select the boot image during the update process.

Phew... finally updated to 10.15.4
in my case, need to update the clover to 5107, and all the necessary kext (thanks @piscesguy!)

reboot twice, then OK

with old clover (mine is <5100) it won't boot after trying to update. only after update to clover 5107 (by ignoring the message from clover "This package is incompatible with this version of macOS", I choose "Install anyway") then it proceed booting to run the 10.15.4 update.
