QUOTE(r2t2 @ Jul 1 2016, 11:01 PM) The Night Of, Episode 1, is nice for me ... basically a whodoneit investigative story (mini-series), might become a court drama ... shot and done in deliberately slow pace but not boring at all. Should be interesting for those who like New York setting. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Braindead ... kinda funny for me. Exploiting the madness of election year in US and the recent political happenings between Democrats and Republicans. It's like a sci-fi/body-snatchers with US politics as background. Starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead (last seen in The Returned). » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(6so @ Jul 19 2016, 12:12 PM) HBO's "The Night of" is very good. Very cinematic and smartly written. Exposition kept to a minimum level and letting the moody scenes driving the narratives. My biggest take out from the series how cold the legal procedure can get and a very filmic representation of being behind bars under dubious circumstances. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Preacher couldn't be what the source materials were all about. Granted the controversial stories and themes still too difficult to pull off. Felt they were hold back by budget and dumbing down the storyline to cater for a wider audience. Outcast is at the boring phase of The Walking Dead problem. Rather down advancing the storyline, they focus on fleshing the uninteresting character scenes. It's like enduring 2 to 3 uneventful episodes in order to get one good one. Unreal is fantastic. did u guys finish finale season The night of? kinda hanging and need to waiting for next season to find out who kill andrea.....and what really happened that night
