hey im watching the leftovers. gonna watch the 2nd episode tonight.

this is some sort like a mystery slow burner drama, so some people might not like it. and since it is writen by damon lindelof, who happens to write LOST, one of the most polarizing love or hate series of all time (and i LOVE lost btw tongue.gif ), there will be some possibilities that some of the mysteries might be left unsolved. lol.

i thought the first episode was amazing, and im curious to know what gonna happen next. why his wife left the family out of sudden, who's this wayne guy etc etc. so yea smile.gif

Sharp Objects (2018)
Premieres-July 8th, weekly eight-part limited series.
Director-Jean-Marc Vallée(Big Little Lies)
Stars: Amy Adams, Patricia Clarkson, Chris Messina.

Based on Gillian Flynn’s novel of the same name.
Amy Adams as Camille Preaker, a St. Louis crime journalist
is sent to return to the Midwest town of Wind Gap where she
grew up to write about the recent murders of two missing girls.
She is less keen to return.

Camille is a flawed, dark, and troubled character and
Amy Adams will nail this part.

Though off to a slow first episode start, will go along for the
eight-week ride, wouldn’t dream of missing what comes next.
She is one of the finest actresses around and she is always
worth watching.

Managed to watch the whole series. Definitely a slow burner type of drama, but a well directed one.
I didnt read the book, so the final twist definitely took me by surprise.

also, dont skip the final episode's credit scene hehe

Big Little Lies is excellent. Excellent cast and excellent directing. 7 episodes in total, so every episode is tight without any unnecessary filler plots. Supposedly a limited series but is recently announced for season 2 due to popularity and great reviews.
