I really love Big Little Lies. Binge it in 2 days. Amazing cast and masterful murder mystery. The beginning a little on the nose with Desperate Housewife riff but once you start to see their skeletons in the closet....you are hooked.

If it wasn't Reese and Nicole, I will give up on second episode. Add in Dave E Kelly, just perfect.

Genius Ep.4.1905 Patent office in Bern, Switzerland.

It was during this time here that Einstein works on paper
about light waves.

Mileva also a student of Physics help her husband with
the research and to proofread his papers but her
name never mentioned at all when his paper was published later.
She was disappointed. It meant a lot to her.

Einstein's mother moves in to help Albert and Mileva with
their new baby,Hans.hence the two torn relationships between
his mother and Mileva.

Toward the end of the series, agent from the prestigious
Prussian Academy in Berlin comes to visit Einstein in the patent office.

And Einstein hands him a piece of paper with the equation "E=MC2"
on it for his next project.

No shame,we do not know much about this equations in details but

E=mc2 has become one of the most famous equations in the world and
influence on the world we live in today.

Naming a few example based on this principle
-Nuclear power
-PET scans

There are way too many good shows to chase right now.
1. American Gods - Enough said.
2. The Handmaid's Tale - Could easily become one of the best show this year. Elisabeth Moss deserves to win any awards in contention.
3. Sense8 - Love it or hate it with the silliness, but when it hit its stride you cannot look away.
4. Master of None - Significant upgrade from season 1. It's a happier and likable version of Louis CK's Louie.
5. Veep - The crazy shenanigans almost a reflection of the trump administration.
6. Silicon Valley - The unpredictable twisty outcome always a highlight of the show.
7. Better Call Saul - It's still well made, but lose out a lot of steam as other shinier shows came about.

Was not expecting Netflix's Devilman Crybaby to be good. Reallty glad my itchy finger pressed the play button accidentally. If you look past the anime mumbo jumbo of using teenagers as protagonist and non-sensical set-up...there are a lot of things to like over this new update. The animation is visceral with a pulsing electronic soundtracks to keep it present. There are plenty of ultra violence of body mutilations and wanton of nudity. It just one step shy from hentai.
Like how they integrate present day social politico talking points into the storyline. It's not too childish and able to tackle heavy themes.

Little Women-(Dec.2017)
Written by Heidi Thomas
Produced by Susie Liggat
A U.K/U.S production, location shot- Eastern Ireland.

Adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s 1869 two-volume classic novel.
The story has already inspired several adaptations for both
TV and cinema screens.
One of the previously known adaptations,1994 film starring Winona Ryder
and Susan Sarandon.

Set in Massachusetts the three-part period drama, follows the lives of four March sisters
on their journey from childhood to womanhood while their father (Dylan Baker) is away at war.
And in his absence, the girls are being raised by their mother Marmee(Emily Watson)

The March sisters classic story of "sisterly love." portrayed by-
(Willa Fitzgerald) as Meg,
(Maya Hawke, daughter of Uma Thurman)as energetic writer Jo,
(Annes Elwy)as loving and musical, Beth and
(Kathryn Newton)as youngest and spoilt Amy.

The best performance came from tragic Beth as she wastes away from scarlet fever.
A last moving moment as she lay by her deathbed and her mum whispered.......

This is a wonderful family series.
Though some plot points raced through too fast whilst others lingered over.
Still enjoyed this adaption though never read the book.
Where it does succeed consistently though is in the performances
of its incredible young cast.
The directors went outside familiar talent.
A mixed affair but on the whole a good one.

QUOTE(6so @ Feb 3 2018, 09:57 AM)
Altered Carbon  - A case of lost identity.
This show reminded me of an old comic book i like when i was cutting classes from school. Aesthetically and premise mirrored Geoff Darrow and Frank Miller Hard Boiled. A Bladerunner-ish setting without the heavy philosophical questions, just a one man army inflicting maximum violence against corporation overlord that stops at nothing to kill the protagonist detective. Yeah Fran Miller was doing his crusade against giant corporations back then.
Then throw in story beats of sci-fi iconic movies for the last decade or two. Out comes a super messy rojak that way too complicated for its own good. So you have a bit of Minority Report, Cloud Atlas, Looper,etc...but not solid identity of its own. Curveballs of story development keep stacking without proper setting up. The dialogues can get so corny like a script you found existed only in porn. Sheesh!!! But it does have that campy and thrashy charm to it.
