generally speaking, which one have better quality? WEB-DL or HDTV?

usually the content are same right?
*
It depends where the WEB release is from. If its one of those high quality releases sold by Apple for example, then yes it'll be better.

I watch all my shows in 720p HDTV coz its usually available faster than the WEB one.

Main content is usually the same. Sometimes the WEB ones have bonus footage though (bloopers, previews, etc)

I just watched EP1 of Veep. I really enjoyed it, will def watch more. Its a political 'drama' but seems more realistic than previous similar shows.

^Yeah, I liked it also. Will def continue watching.

New UK series out called 'Line Of Duty', its about some cop who was on a raid that went bad and then refused to be a part of the cover-up, so he transferred to the anti-corruption unit.

Has anyone tried Anger Management yet? Charlie Sheen's new tv-show. Feels a little like Two And A Half Men to be honest.

Anyone watch the new season of True Blood? I'm a big fan of this show, it's always the highlight of my summer biggrin.gif

It seems like Breaking Bad is pretty popular on this forum, does anyone highly recommend it?

It had very low ratings. That's why they moved it to Saturday (US time).

I'm watching it. There's a few short reviews of it in earlier posts here. Feels like Charlie has a similar role to Two and A Half Men.

Has anyone checked out Political Animals yet? new show on the USA network starring Sigourney Weaver. Only 6 episodes I think.

Sounds interesting.

Synopsis:

QUOTE
POLITICAL ANIMALS is a bold and significant look at a fictional former first family in turmoil. Elaine Barrish, a divorced former First Lady and current Secretary of State, struggles to keep her family together while simultaneously dealing with the crises of the State Department. She finds an unlikely ally in Susan Berg, a famous D.C. journalist who has spent her career tearing Elaine down. The provocative drama series will tap into the behind-the-scenes dynamics of a high-profile political dynasty, the dark – yet real – human side of life, and the often-disastrous effects of political ambition. Exploring themes that resonate in the current political landscape and taking viewers beyond the glossy ads and well-written public speeches, POLITICAL ANIMALS will reveal a vulnerable family on the verge of falling apart.

I've downloaded The Hollow Crown, but haven't watched. I only see 2 episodes, but the last one is tagged EP3. Weird. I'm guessing the first one contains 2 episodes?

Some Anger Management news:

QUOTE
President of FX, John Landgraf says that ‘Anger Management’, the comedy show starring Charlie Sheen has now landed Martin Sheen, Charlie’s father, as a full-time cast member! The show itself has exceeded expectations and is likely to return next year. FX has agreed to 90 more episodes of the comedy show and with only six episodes aired, the ratings are staying up and climbing even higher.

Of course, the president is still weary with what the future may hold, but has said that it is “very likely”. As for Martin Sheen, he is appearing in the ninth episode and has already agreed to joining his son on the other 90 episodes.

Charlie has responded by saying, “I’m excited as hell. I don’t think 90 is going to be enough. I feel we’ve started that we’ve barely scratched the surface.” The actor claims that he is not crazy anymore. We all remember the fiasco of what Three And a Half Men did to Charlie and how the backlash nearly destroyed him. The star is hopeful as they air episode after episode and score ratings gold with viewers. No one could have expected that the show would succeed the way it has and it is sure to continue.

The media has jumped at the chance to bring the show down, but have not succeeded in delivering bad news. FX is sure to make a lot with the show and don’t see any reason to drop it from their station any time soon. Landgraf has stated, “What the entry of Martin Sheen’s character will do is it will give an extra dimension to the show and make it a multi-generational family show,”
Also, Charlie's ex-wife Denise Richards was on an episode also.

^yup

Anyone gonna check Copper out? Looks interesting.
QUOTE
In its most significant original programming commitment to date, BBC AMERICA has announced its first original scripted drama series, “Copper”. The 10 episode series, which centers on a young Irish cop operating in the immigrant communities of 19th century New York, is co-created by Tom Fontana (OZ, Homicide: Life on the Street, St. Elsewhere) and Will Rokos (Monster’s Ball, Southland).

Kevin Corcoran, an Irish-immigrant cop in 1864 New York City, investigates crimes in the notorious Five Points area. In the opener, Corcoran searches for a child killer.
