Starcraft 2 has it’s first professional girl gamer

    SlayerS recruits first female StarCraft II professional gamer.

    During 2011 GSTL Season 1 Jupiter league week 4 on the 14th, a beautiful girl was spotted in the waiting area. She is the first female SC2 progamer that SlayerS has recruited and trained.

    Kim Shee-Yoon will turn 22 this year and uses the handle, Eve. She has won first place in an amateur tournament before but has no other experience with e-sports. SlayerS_Jessica herself scouted based on her skills and looks.

    Joining the team in their game vs TSL in week 4 of 2011 GSTL Season 1 Jupiter league, she said, “I am very happy to join such a respected professional gaming team SlayerS.” She also added that she played the original game in elementary school where she mained Terran, and her choice has subsequently remained the same.

    She said she is a fan of MMA and looks forward to practice with her new teammates and become an integral part of the team.

    You maybe be able to see her play in GSTL. SlayerS has expressed that they plan to field her this season.

If you haven’t been keeping up with the GSTL, now would be the time to start. Since the team SlayerS has expressed interest in getting her into the action early, she will see her chance soon. Team SlayerS is slated to play Jul 14, 2011 18:10 KST(GMT+9)  Jupiter Group Week 4, so if you don’t have a GSTL ticket, now would be a good time if you are trying to check out Starcraft 2′s new pro-gamer girl SlayerS Eve (Kim Shee Yoon).



This now brings the question, will other teams follow suit and look at current pro-gamer girl to add to their team?

Well i can tell you it's a boost to the team spirit as, you hardly see female pro gamer, and gamer usually wish to see girls to play, imagine your self as a pro gamer in the team house, and only MALE inside, one day when there's some hot chick came to the house or something, you will feel like playing stronger.

A girl.... SEA also many girl but none is grandmaster i think, haha

i wish she she were to stay in the team house with a brunch of guys 24/7, that would be awesome, a lot of drama will happen, like jersey shore
u can well expect kellymilkies is the next one, due to moonglade 24/7 expert 1 on 1 coaching, cuz both of them use zerg, i think kelly switched race becuz of him

Yeah, and there was a time where kelly MMR was too high for her own good (maybe moonglade helped her), and she met me and i pawned her badly, but seriously, she makes me wanna puke.

Work + social life = no time to game. Besides I think not a lot of ppl would prefer playing on NA server which I normally play at
