Hi, this has always been a popular discussion.
I saw nice Hansgrohe taps at the Archidex but price is quite hefty. Do you guys think its worth the value?
I must say Hansa has interesting design, but very little is known about them.
Grohe seems reputable but design seems a bit on 'the rough' side. Does not look as 'refined' as the Hansas and Hansgrohe.

In the end, went for Hansgrohe. You are right, Hansgrohe also have Made in China and Germany models. Hence, need to know which models come from where.
As for me, I got the Talis E (guest bath), Metris S(all other bathrooms)and Puravida (master bath). Hopefully, I made the right choice.

QUOTE(lucifah @ Jul 23 2011, 01:12 PM) not necessarily these plumbing fixtures, if bought correctly can spruce up the toilet - u use it every day, why not pamper yourself? it's your own home anyway, and u r gonna stay in it for quite some time plus, these fixtures may even last for years. and this would save you time / money for replacements, repairs or worse damages caused by leaking faucets just my 2 sens Spot on......no need to be multi millionaire to buy these stuffs. Those big shots would be looking for gold plated taps. What I was looking for is something that has a design that can stand the test of time and more importantly durable and reliable......hence Hansgrohe was the final choice.

Added on July 18, 2012, 8:14 amQUOTE(ozak @ Jul 16 2012, 12:57 PM) Would it be cheaper if buy from outside? I means like US. (ebay, amazon, etc) These are mechanical stuffs, online supply means you can't inspect the goods before purchasing. Returns will be a hassle if there are defects. My two cents worth.
