Anything comes from Ray surely Ray wins you lose. Kekekeke....
Butthurt does not come from padding. Padding just give a bit of comfort. Once your bone sets in, if it hurts, it will still hurt.
Not all wrong. Padding, whichever way it comes from, will give a small comforting to your crack.
saddles without padding and yet still comfortable e.g. Tioga Spider and many roadbikes carbon fibre saddles come without padding!
So... what makes you butthurt?
Your seatbone and the shape of your saddle. And ... another very important part is the angle of your saddle.
I have tested many saddles. From RM500 a piece to RM90 a piece... expensive doesn't mean comfort.
So... what can u do?
Step 1.
Adjust the seat angle. Tilt down. This is to assure you are using ur buttbone to sit instead of using ur kukujiao to sit.
Step 2.
While riding, do adjust ur butt crack to assure you are sitting on the right point.
If these 2 steps don't help... you probably need to buy another saddle.
Many saddles don't have size. Specialized saddles got. You can go to their shop to measure ur butt bone and determine which saddle is best for you.
But for me, I prefer 1 size smaller than the recommended one.
Hope this helps.
