hello...
Today i went to change my HARO front tyre's tube as it was leaking. There are two types of tubes.i was told.one with thin and long air valve and the other one fatter valve. any major difference between the two or which is better in terms of reliability and price ? My GT avalanche and merida matt40 and all my friends is using the fatter valve type.Only my HARO full sus is using the thinner and longer valve. Can i change to the same fatter valve for my haro so that i need only to buy 1 type of spare tube.? TQ This post has been edited by nokian: Jul 22 2011, 10:40 PM |

QUOTE(chamelion @ Jul 22 2011, 10:52 PM) it's same. only rim maker prefer presta (small one) as the smaller hole will have more strength to the rim. i thought of changing to fatter valve so that all my mtb use same type tube.Just make sure your spare tube and handheld pump can fit to ur riding rim. but cannot le...rim hole too small for normal valve... tq |

QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Aug 15 2011, 02:04 PM) Pic plis... last time using hardtail GT 3.0 avalanche with 10mm fork.Anyway, compare your old bike geometry and the new one. See apa yang different. Maybe that can root out the cause of your backache... Same bike but different fork travel oso can make your back ache... now using haro shift r3 full sus with 120mm fork.i moved my saddle front and ride again.earlier i tried to lift up the saddle but didn't help. |
