earlier told early of Aug.. then mid of august... any bet that they will further delay this?

After using this sgt10.1 for almost a month, i can conclude that it is nt as stable as ipad. It lagged, frozen, force shutting down apps etc.

Despite that i really like it as it is cool with its friendly, and customised interface n easier connectivity with pc n notebook where ipad user begging for it.

I'm glad not to have much problems on it as someone mention on screen evaporated,  colour washed or so on.  Just hope that the next software update will make it stable, and not to wait until icre cream sandwich out.

No regret buying it, and i'm proud to say i'm a few lucky pioneer owner  in msia.

I was in lowyat plaza a week after i bought my sgt to try my luck to buy some accessories thr. Instead of spending time looking fr it, i struck in a few store where these sales men play with my tab. Few visitor also came looking at it n impressed with it. Hehehe

Besides the accessories which we featured here, Samsung will also be selling a HDMI connectivity kit for RM160. We also tried our best to prod for a release date and retail price, but unfortunately, we couldn't come back with much information other than "it will launch by the end of this month with a telco at a very competitive price".

On the other hand, Samsung's rep confirmed that the initial batch of Tab 10.1 to hit the market will be 16GB 3G models. They are currently undecided whether or not to bring in the 32GB model. The WiFi model will only go on sale AFTER the 3G model hits the market. This is because launching a WiFi model through a telco wouldn't make much sense.

If you're not keen on buying a Tab 10.1 on a contract basis through a telco, a number of units will be made available at seven Samsung outlets around Malaysia on launch day. These units will sell at full retail price (a figure which we do not have yet), and will not come with any form of contractual obligations. All the above mentioned accessories will also be available on launch day.

From the article there is 2 good news:

1. The USB port and SD card add-ons will sell in a pair for RM109!!! They are selling together.. now it starts to sound more resonable...

For point #2, we don't knw which outlet this is BUT Celcom did reveal 6 of their outlet in a previously leaked job offers:

Im the one one who post HK relase date in samsung FB. its officially confirmed lauch in HK on 16/8. U all can ggole the news there. much cheaper or same as usa price and no need tied up with telco !!

all i can say ...  SME don't even having a proper marketing strategy! 

  if without Samsung Galaxy series, will SME even still surviving in Malaysia ??   

I watch on utube, dat the touchwiz ux slow down the performance...n samsung new york said the user must use touchwiz or else no update for icecream...

wifi will do for me....i can use my sgs2 for tethering.....
