Monitor Details?

You can use HDMI and extract the sound through audio out if your monitor has AUDIO OUT. Else, use the RCA cable to connect to ext speakers.

If TV more easier. Plug the HDMI and you get both Visual + Audio.

uhhh..i have CRT Monitor

Use VGA cable then, and VGA cable comes with external speaker connections, nothing to worry about

i want to buy a monitor for my xbox 360. im looking for 23-24" monitor with hdmi and audio out jack..i've been looking around and it seems that not many monitor does have audio out jack so can u guys help me out here?

Look for Samsung BX2350 & BX2450. They both have what you need.

these have touch sensitive ctrl rite? my fren got 23" samsung with touch sensitive ctrl.it malfunction within 1 year plus 2-3 dead pixel.. nway he's using 2333t if im not mistaken.issit just his model or he's an unlucky customer of samsung?

As with other tech products, every user experience is varies. My monitor also have touch sensitive control. Let see if in 1 year it's still ok or not.

My suggestion would be, Samsung XL2370.

I have one of this. Seriously GOOD for XBOX and Laptop.

using alienware w2310 3d monitor, works great but no 3d for xbox only for my pc

Does it have the AUDIO out port from the monitor?

If dont have, then u will need to use the analog cable of the xbox for the audio.

Normally, I use my Xbox on my LCD Pananasonic Vierra 32inch. Its not Full HD, but using HDMI some games allow to be upscaled to 1080i, but not much difference frm 720p. But s'times I use it on a Samsung monitor. Model T910. Screen size 19 inch. No built speaker or HDMI. I connect frm xbox to the VGA input and to a 2.1 speakers that have the red and white input jacks. The monitor is not full HD and the aspect ratio is 16:10. So in all/most games, it got black bars on top and bottom of the screen. So i suggest buy a monitor with a 16:9 ratio even if its not full HD

Hmmm... u can modify the RCA cable, The XBOX one is big and blocks the HDMI port, so potong the extra plastic which blocks by opening the cable end (Google n YouTube got people do ). Then plug the RCA to your speakers and HDMI to monitor.

But if you want to cut all this cumbersome stuff and wires dangling around, just switch to TV or Monitor with AUDIO out jack built in.
