KUALA LUMPUR: UOA Development Bhd, which listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia on Wednesday, June 8, is acquiring two parcels of freehold land in Sri Petaling for RM50 million for a proposed high-rise residential development.

In a filing on Tuesday, UOA Development said its wholly-owned unit Magna Tiara Development Sdn Bhd had entered into a conditional sales and purchase agreement with Sim Nam Housing Development Co Sdn Bhd to acquire two parcels of land measuring 4.86 acres (1.97ha) in total.

UOA Development said the acquisition would be financed by cash from internally generated funds.

The company said the acquisition was in line with its strategy to further grow its development activities within Klang Valley.

"The land is strategically located about 15km from Kuala Lumpur City Centre, within the matured suburbs of Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, which is a densely populated residential area highly accessible via major highways such as New Pantai Expressway, North South Highway and Kesas Highway.

UOA Development is proposing to develop the land into high- rise residential and has plans to commence in the fourth quarter of 2011.

My friend sold hers at 385k 1000sqft with two car parks. It was an urgent sales else it could been more, since hers comes with two parking lots.

the uoa land is mainly for Pr1ma Project. i heart that over 4K-8K unit to be propose in sungai besi air-port. Is good locationa also, but for ppl who already own house, cannot be apply anymore lo. somemore is very congested, i duely it would be very mess-up the surrounding area also.

Why worry both nearby project Art-e opposite & right side BHL going to launch condo minimum price 380 p sf....still a lot of room to move la.

Just noticed there is a construction site opposite Old Klang Road Tesco (Scott Garden), as stated by the fruit stall owner...
it will be another condo project...
anyone hv any news on this project...

It is very funny this piece of land seem to be nobody know who is the owner & developer & alot of time the moment the news flow out the project has already sold out. Normally once it has been fence up there shud been a sign board indicating what project is that? Hopefully the person who knows abt it can share us your info thx.........

Well, well, well let see what will happen whether Akisama is an all rounded or just a low-medium developer as mentioned in the Wick talk
(Please note that Akisama is quite reputable developer, well known in building low-medium cost condo with quality finishing. But are they capable to upgrade their skill and experience to deliver luxury condo? You think lar....)
Understand this 288 units come together with kitchen cabinet, shower screen & quality knob and knowing that their Parklane project also providing almost the same identical furnished sometimes wonder whether they are using same material for both of the project or they are capable to proof the 288 units are comparable with Seringin See Hoy Chan standard or higher lor?

Of course cannot be compete to seringin resident. that's why price wisely no up to seringin resident. my opinion, once the private school opening. seringin resident will fed-up about the school buses and cars during school time. They might rather migrate to this 288 resident, ^^. 288 resident can avoid the traffic while use others option road accessment to their destiny. I duely in future, more family come into this area just because of this private school. It might be the track of Sri KDU cases happen in damansara intan booming price.
