QUOTE(celciuz @ Aug 13 2011, 09:27 AM) Previously when I sent my lens and during pick up, was testing a lot of lens too including 24 f/1.4G. Poisonous lens! Kinda nice dof produced , the wide prime makes the subject like pop up from the background haha. But then if you can afford just buy it lah |

QUOTE(Darkripper @ Aug 13 2011, 12:34 PM) Just a nub question here.... Is N-GRAD a must for sunset photo? Depends on what's ur situation as well,Because i tried many setting before, still cant get the saturation i wanted.... using D3k with kit lens now... hope sifus can help in this case you see the sun part if its properly expose then the grass part is dark, but in this photo i merge two diff exposure so u see its balance for both ![]() IMG_9646 by YongJK, on Flickr |

QUOTE(Darkripper @ Aug 13 2011, 07:02 PM) Since normally i really cant get the colour saturation that i wanted... and really confused about the hyperfocal method... color saturation ? go for RAW format, generally RAW is uncompressed , bigger file size but the versatility is there when comes to editing Hyperfocal method is easy bro, at 18mm DX u set to F8 and you are good to go for landscape. Maybe sometimes people's EXIF also act as a guidance so in what situation you know what F would like to use. |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Aug 18 2011, 10:10 AM) I thought this sort of lens supposedly control the aperture through the ring? Still use the latch like those G lens? Or yours is broken? that thing is attached to the lens , so when u turn aperture ring, the latch will push along the body controller as well » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « thats how manual aperture works in nikon dxxx/dx i don't even know its missing there when COD-ing, the seller say will refund the repair charges maximum Rm50 only. duno need how much to fix also |

QUOTE(ifer @ Aug 18 2011, 12:27 PM) it's like a non - AI lens. they do not have the small latch in the mount. they rely on the weird chrome/white err... looks like a half shuriken thingy on top of the lens to move the aperture. found in super old nikon cameras but then nvm, my d700 is on the way to people hand. btw, non AI lens paired with Nikon F can read the aperture right? QUOTE(sakurakinomoto @ Aug 18 2011, 02:25 PM) that will be Full Manual |
