yes for safety side for prevent any human error such as no tighten some screws... imagine your car parts falling off when u doing high speed...
some more the brake system may no 100% working due to still new condition as the disc and pad no able to 100% "touch" with each others......

depend on what TS believe... if u think break-in is necessary, go ahead... for me, i didnt do any break-in and low rev as possible on my myvi to save fuel, the best FC i can get is about 19km/L for the first few months... but now average can get 17km/L due to heavy foot bit... hence no engine failure issues within 4.5 years with my nanny driving style without proper engine break-in...
