Not very helpful to bash not knowing what is going on.
Repair Status link <check ur RMA stats here
the last time i sent in my laptop was a G series, took them 12 days.
to claim a new keyboard because it broked on the 2nd year (the last week of the warranty)
they said itz over the warranty period and asked me to go back to the purchasing shop to amend the receipt to 1 week later.
done that came back and they sent it in for diagnostics.
12 days later they called me and asked to pick up.
they ran a full diagnostic and repaired my broken back lighting panel for my FullHD screen (which i never asked) and the keyboard.
they also fixed some body panels.
Total cost waived, RM400 backlit keyboard + RM1000 Full HD matt screen

another experience was sending in my N53SN in sydney parramatta SCentre,
regarding a fault I did, corrupting my total mobo boot and HHD.
sent it in the morning, received it back in the evening, they stayed back overtime for me so i didnt have to walk so far again.
thats international warranty claim, no hassles no ask for anything, no say cannot cuz of my fault.
Total cost waived 500AUD
My advice is send the laptop in as early as possible, thats when the staff is fresh and happy and be nice to them.
Also give them time to fix ur laptop, remember u r not the only one in the whole malaysia with an asus laptop.
moreover, parts also needs to be sourced and things needs to be processed.
But i must say Asus SC MY Lowyat NEVER picks up their phones or their emails.
that's lousy
I have been checking the status ever since I sent my notebook in as the status has been "Repairing" since day one. What irks me is that none of their staff bothers to inform us what is the status of the repairs.
All in all, I would say lousy customer service. Next time, wont mind paying more for a better known brand with better after sales. Enough said.
