1. Install back ATK driver.
2. Can..
3. Why want to increase it? Keep install software and add more startup...
4. Check the nVidia icon on system tray. Differences, Intel for marathon, nVidia for sprint..

Install back ATK driver.
- all the preloded drivers are in the e-driver application in ur asus floder in start menu, uninstall ur atk, then reboot then reinstall then fn, media keys shud work.
only keep expressgate, fastboot, splendit, p4g atk, ai, wirelss console 3, and sonic master, the rest buangkan tongsampah
<boot up time, if u dun use blutooth, in msconfig, disable blutoth, splendit, expressgate, fastboot, and adobe related, and there are 1 nvidia system thing that is not needed(itz to update), msoffice updater, adobe, bonjour(itunes) and set processor to 4 to hav faster boot up but later multitaskingslow. intel turboboost monitor 2.0 is recommended to be disabled 2 cuz we hardly c it and itz just a bar that shows the up/turbo clocked rate.

Added on August 4, 2011, 12:37 pmhibernate too many stuff open soo take time shut/close, sleep simple biggrin.gif
i hiber take 30-40 secs sometimes 1 min. sleep 20 sec (try sleeping in lectures then u know itz impossible to hiber in lecture cuz lec will end then u hav to move)

lappie 3 mins= longer, maybe patient? or else u got driver issues.. if not resolve, most likely itz atk have to be uninstaled n reboot reinstalled(solve most stuff) tats if u took the new audio driver(doesnt let laptops turn off, literally). also is it set in ur current power profile or batts.

i haven't really noticed this until recently when i acidently touch it when playing game haha. its quite hot, but not hot till cannot hold with hand, its just hotter than usual.

The problem only occur on all 4 P4G settings for power options.

If I use the default available, Power Saver and Balanced will turn off display. sad.gif

GG liao. Even I uninstall P4G and ATK, reinstall still the same. My screen still doesn't turn off. Mine is N53SV.

Just a tip to disable some startup programs that allow you to boot up faster.

Go to start menu and type in "msconfig"

Enter the program and under startup tab. Disable unused programs that you do not what to startup.

Its also a good way to look out for viruses. They tend to be unknown in the list
