Just and update, As mentioned send in my notebook for RMA since 5/5/5014 and until now after countless calls to


1) ASUS CS HOTLINE - Foreigners picking up calls and have no idea of the status of the Repairs, Keep telling me to wait.

2) Service Centre In Lowyat - Never Picks up calls

3) ASUS Facebook - Promised to get Service Centre People to Call me but never did

4) ASUS Online Repair Status - Still same status, Under Repairs Since Day 1.


Been given the runaround and nobody seems to be bothered to attend to your case doh.gif

better followup with their branch manager or head onto facebook (asus malaysia page)
3 weeks repair usually is major motherboard case with problem finding a replacement.
but if u claimed itz hhd then it is not right already.

Go report to the asus management for malaysia and file it under stolen loss laptop, that should wake them up asap

yesterday i found out that, it seems like some button, not functioning well @@. i means the keyboard....
sometimes i press and it doesnt respond at all. very strange. after a while, it is functioning @@. dunno what is wrong with it lolz.

hi... guys.... here's some question
1) my wireless adapter problem- it automically off when the platform is hot
2) the computer will hag after the sleep mode
3) my computer will automatically off when using battery mode (i mean straight off it without any like shutting down......) but maybe after 5 or 10 seconds, i press the power on, it able to turn on and still left around 50 or 60% battery

1)when things run too hot, it will wear it down faster. ur component is most likely dying due to the frequent heat stress.
2)running ssd? any settings changed? installed any power applications?
3)battery cell probably depleted. readings say >50% but it is reading based on <5% of current capacity.

but previously even the computer is cool, the wireless adapter also got problem... then i go ask computer shop, they said my wireless adapter got problem already and our laptop will be so hard to do the replacement because wireless adapter is placed in the middle of laptop so need to take out whole cover 1st....

but after it shut down, it able to start again and run for half an hour or more than that

maybe your wireless adapter got problem.... same like mine...

mine no problem so far (touch wood), i take good care..

but overall, u might have a lemon unit with you..
battery if new till now like that means faulty, but if recently means board might be damaged.
wifi adapter roll back and restore stock driver still like that means component problem.
if not mistaken RM80 or less can replace.

RM 80 only but i change to intel one.... more stronger and got wireless display function.... RM 150

ur laptop harddrive is prolly dying,
recommend u buy a new SSD like samsung 840 evo or PRO
im using a seagate 600 240gb currently with a fresh win7 installation,
after a week of using my boot up to password in 3 sec and login to stable in 2 sec, shutdown in 8 sec.

of course do some research be4 listening to me

1.1k ......bought this because i7 and can upgrade ram to max 16gb..and also doin engineering software like solid work.. matlab..been compare to new lappy around 1.1k..i guess this is the best deal...what if not.using ssd? I mean normal brand new hdd? Btw doing research one of them.change ssd but still slow booting

hi guys, im using K43SD laptop, do anyone know whether is it possible to add another SSD? Or do I have to replace my previous hard-drive with SSD alone?
