Easy to install?

Printer: Brother MFC-295CN (Newly bought 2 weeks)
CISS bought: LC-61
Problem1: Cannot detect one of my generic cart. BK in my case.
Solution1: Tape the cart ink indicator. Before that, make sure the printer ink sensor is not dirty or covered with spilled inks.
Problem 2: Yellow ink not printing.
Solution 2: Clean the print head by pressing the button MANUALLY. Generic cart does not clean as often as genuine i suppose.
Suggestion: Would be helpful if TS could gather all problems and their solution as a reference for all. Put under FAQ perhaps. Can save a lot of trouble for noobies like me.
Caution: Prepare lots of tissue and make sure to get dirty @@

Had problem with my Ciss. Told TS. Apparently he does not understand what is my problem and starts giving me basic instructions like how to install step by step slowly. I called him and explained my problem and he said I DID NOT installed properly.
So i have to go through the basic steps 1 by 1 again and again until he starts asking me other basics like did i install air filter etc.
I replied him told him i did all correctly according to standard instructions by him and by brother's website. At last he didn't reply me. May be he ran out of solutions
So i have to go through much hassle searching for solution myself. Luckily a friend of mine had the same situation. He solved it by taping the cart sensor with black tape. Surprising, it works!
What a relief for me after spending more than 3 hours "troubleshooting". Although the cart is filled with full ink, the printer just cannot detect the cart. So no choice but to trick the printer
Else, the printer will keep prompting me omgs such as "Cannot Detect BK", "Please install slowly", "Did you change BK?", "..." (i add this myself )

Pheww, 1st time using generic yet cause me so much trouble. But in terms of savings, recommended to all.
