Hi I've got a CISS (not Ezciss) installed on my C67 and it has the same error reply. Do not recognise the ink.

You could still print, but you'd need to 'tweak' some things. When you get the response, try simulating an ink cartridge change under "How to change ink" or some sort in the box. You'll notice that the print head does move back and forth. At the point where your printhead is at the ink change position, try to take the cartridges out and replace it. Next press on the OK on the screen signalling the end of cartridge change.

If it was successful, head cleaning will be done. You can start printing right after. If not, you'll need to repeat the whole process again. I am quite used to it after a few months of manouvering. Just hope your problem can be solved soon.

Unfortunately the factory need to investigate these batch of chips.  It would be pointless to send you guys a similar set that cant function on our printers.  If it makes you guys feel better, 1,000 similar sets went out worldwide at the time of my V9 shipment.  I have no idea how they going to kow-tim those cases.. I just push for you guys.

I really apprecaite your assitance and understanding for this sticky matter.  The cost of RMA back to factory is from my own pocket also, although it a small package.. its super darn expensive 

To clarify... other models that came it works fine, just this particular model screwed up for this particular batch.

RMA C67 chips received and installed, everything is working now, bump for good responsible seller and thank for the extra in the RMA.

Sorry to say this but I have a Major Problem.

well after i install the chips, all went well. print a couple of time and then the two light next to the power went red. So I turn off the power and then turn on its ok (for like 4 -5 times already). But later I try turn off and on again the problem about the epson cant recognize the chips arise again. So i pull out the cartridges and look at the chips look like kinda burn.( i think)

* i switch the cartridges with the ori and its ok.

wow sorry to hear bout it bro...    looks like u either take the ori cartridge chip and paste it there (you will need a manual resetter to reset it everytime it goes to 0%) or get a new set of auto reset chips
