ezCISS, y no discount on 2nd batch? thumbup.gif

miss the 1st batch, will confirm with u later 4 this batch...

noobie question about the photo paper, which kind of photo paper gives me the best quality for photo printing? unsure.gif
*
Buddy, as you have follow from V1 Bulk, you would know I originally cost at 10 sets minimum. I further cut down to 5 sets while keeping same price. sweat.gif

For V2 bulk onwards my supplier further want to charge me Bank Charges USD20 per shipment cry.gif I sincerly hope that you understand. Price has not chnges for the moment.

FULL specs on my paper type and quality is on my website. If you are brand concious, stick to your branded paper. Personally I feel its the same stuff, they just Brand repackage it.

Things to look out for when buying paper
Type - Microporous (Resin Coated), Swellable or Cast Coated
Finish - Glossy or Matte
Whiteness - % Whiteness
Features - Water Resistant & Instant Dry
Weight - g/m2 (thicker the better)

Shops normally sell with with colour packaging.. but the information above may not be printed in the packaging. Sometime you buy cause it's cheap, but the quality is less.

Worried loh. Poslaju tracking shows delivery attempt at 1815 hours. At that time got plenty of ppl at home already. Also no poslaju card left behind. Either they went to wrong address or they did not come at all.
*
Buddy, no need to worry. I just called 1300-300-300 to counter check for you. It's possible that they could not make the delivery today.

1. As indicated originally, in their system would take 2 days
2. 1815hrs is not practical as this "month" they are making only 1 trip per day. Late afternoon trips have been cancelled for this "month". It could be their system update time.

I'll keep an eye on your delivery!

Cheers!

QUOTE(March05 @ Oct 19 2005, 01:05 PM)
ezCISS, I'm considering also converting my C80 to this system.  thumbup.gif
Just 2 questions.

1.  How long can the new CISS ink be stored if left unopened/unused in the original pack? My current Epson original C80 cartridges are still more than 70% full, so it could be months before i need to change them!

2. Epson uses Durabrite Ink Technology for the C80 (and also C65 which many in V1 have), is the CISS equivalent also water resistant (for all colors) and more durable than the normal water based inks?
*
I'm happy to hear that you are considering your 2nd set!

1. As it's an ink product, it's recommended shelf life is 2 years. BUT since my system is spongeless, it can be stored for longer periods if kept properly. That being said, my kits are direct from the overseas manufacturer, they custom assemble and use fresh ink when delivering my orders.

2. Durabright (water proof ink) is actually Pigment Ink. If you require, I can order your set with PIGMENT ink, but the price may not be aggreable to you as 400ml of pigment ink is quite expensive. Furthemore, Pigment ink is more prone to head clogging as it's super thick ink.

Since you are an existing user, I'm sure you satisfied with the print quality of your 1st set.

Cheers! biggrin.gif

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I purchased the C80 primarily for the Durabrite ink due to its specific properties of being water resistant and durable. For this printer I would not want to use normal water soluble inks. How much more would the pigment inks cost?

Welcome.. you all know my service level yah!

I'll re-check with my supplier and email you with the details as soon I get them.

I hope so too. IF all are Genuine Buyers, should be able to wrap up V2 Bulk in 2 weeks time.

Can I interest you in some Photo Paper too? whistling.gif

BTW.. the running cost for your C80 must be quite high.. have you found compatible pigment ink cartridge in our market? Using original all these time?

Cheers!

QUOTE(March05 @ Oct 19 2005, 05:10 PM)
...... Durabrite ink has been the only one (in the consumer range) i have found (compared to all other printer brands - HP, Canon, etc) to stand up to it.

......So far no other third party ink supplier has been confident that their ink can work as well (or nearly as well) as the original stuff. I think they're only on normal dyes, so they can't commit.
As I know, there aren't that many FULL Pigment Ink printers in the market, even some of the Canon models use Pigment for BLACK only, they use a combination of Pigment and Dye for their prints.

To be honest I also cannot guarantee 100% colour matching scheme to the originals. I can only say colours comes close to Originals. Anybody that can claim 100% matching must be a fool. As you are more of a professional user, I hope that your 1st set passed your strict QC sweat.gif

To breifly share with all, by Brand and even by models.. each specific printer models has a different ink chemical content. They are rated by;

1. Surface tension
2. Viscosity
3. PH
4. Conductivity

It's just some technical stuff.. but the final output is more important! thumbup.gif

March05 & osxchd

I'm still waiting for a reply from my supplier for your PIGMENT ink. Thank you for your undestanding.

Yes it all depends on pricing, but I'm also concerned on your refills as I dont think you can buy PIGMENT refills from the shops. 100ml ink of each colour may go a long way, but I'll try to get good pricing for the refill ink bottles for you guys. (then you dont have to worry about low ink levels, or the success of my future Bulk Orders)

As you know my bulk all depends on the volume of orders. So I'll give the best service as I can since V2 is confirmed GO (unless somebody decides to FFK)

Please check you PM's for pricing updates or MSN me at ezciss@gmail.com
