Hi...

Can you quote me Epson T10 with "empty cartridge". I want the cartridge only and not the CISS. I want to put another type of ink. Not dye, subli or pigment ink but PVC ink.

Tq...
*
Hi.. have not hear from you since last email in February.

Just cartridges alone for T10 is 3/4 size version right now sweat.gif

PVC ink? As in for PVC ID cards? Normally using Dye or Pigment ink.. If your contact is giving you solvent ink.. better take real good care of your printer sweat.gif

email me if your fee notworthy.gif

ur personal opinion.. which printer with ciss is best (or less hessle)?

I am using MP160now.. heard it's not that good with ciss.
*
Hi,

In my experience, for low to mid range printers;

Epson = Performance & Quality
Brother = Simplest to install
Canon = Expensive in the long run due to the Ori Carts dying (E5 Error)

Your MP160 can be CISS since you already bought it. Just know "E5" can strike anytime.

1.I found out that the movement of the cartridge is not really smooth...
2. there is air inside the connection tubes.....it is ok?
*
1. Please fine tune the ink tube installation/position for smooth prtinhead movement.

2. Little is normal, I made sure that the system was optional before sending it to you.

Hi, can I know what the different between Dye / Pigment / Sublimation Ink? Which one is best for water proof?

Recently, I am looking for 1 unit printer with CISS for heavy duty used. Which brand & model u recommend?

Thank you.
*
Hi,

If you need waterproof prints, you will need a Pigment ink System/Printer.

The only full spectrum Pigment ink printer in the market is Epson.

What kind of printer budget do you have in mind?

Thanks for your reply...
Recently I am looking for 1 unit heavy duty used printer + CISS.
I need to print many works on OHP Transparent Material in fast speed and acceptable quality.
Before I heard Epson is a nice brand in Inject Technology, any printer + CISS that you recomended?
My Budjet is below RM600. smile.gif

Added on July 13, 2009, 2:02 amAnd also I wants to know would your CISS system provide waste ink storage tank or not? that mean a modified device connect with the printer cartrage holding sponge there to received the waste ink when printer start...TQ
*
I believe that there has been a lot of misunderstanding on your requirements.

FYI - OHP "inkjet" transparency film is required for your needs. For that, depending on the media used, normal ink is possible and cheaper. Waterpoof ink does not guarantee that it can 'stick' on Normal OHP transparency film.

Epson T10 is a handy budget workhorse for easy use.

Waste ink Tank - It's CISS independent.
* It's NOT connected to the printer cartridge - it's a tube connected after the pump below the printhead.
* Any kind of container can be used - sponge or not
* All printers can be modified accordingly if the uses desires it. It's NOT a necessary/compulsory mod.
* I would advise on modding only after the Printer warranty has run out. As it does not serve any critical function.
* Epson TX100 is the fastest to MOD if you just have to have it.

Thanks for your reply...

I still have some question about the waste ink tank, I need your advice and opinion.

Do you think the waste ink tank is not compulsory? Because I get answer from my friend there said when you start the printer, the printer will drop out some ink to the original sponge container...so if not put a waste ink tank at there, will it affect other day the container will be "Full"?

Added on July 13, 2009, 11:01 pmAnd also I found one type of ink called "Sublimation", can I know what special for it? Thanks...
*
NOT compulsory, because the built in pad is more then sufficient.

What you say is true, eventually the pad at the bottom of the printer will get saturate. But your jumping the gun here.
* That's the original purpose, the waste pad under the printer is HUGE.. it's meant for large storage over time.
* New printer = under warranty. Let them solve it if it does happen within the warranty period.
* This MOD can void your printer warranty.
* It does not get "Full" that fast lah.. depends to user, some in 2 or 3 years time only.
* Again, depending on user, for some odd reason the printer may Kaput even before it gets 'Full'
* If is does get "Full", then address it when the time comes. If not broken, don't fix it lah tongue.gif
* Once u MOD, you got to keep emptying that bottle. More troublesome and extremely easy to accidently banjir your table.
* Finally.. MOD or not.. does not affect your printing output.

From my experience, the benefits of the MOD does not outweigh the hassle caused. Lagi pening just to keep things clean "inside".

FYI - I have that mod and info is on my webby online years ago. Using it too. (heck my printer is 4 years old now since before V1 bulk) rclxm9.gif

Sublimation Ink = Heat Press products. NOT for end user printing.

And also they recommended Epson T60, which also is 6 ink printer, but i worried that this model got CISS support or not?
*
R230/R290 is a popular 6 colour printer. T60 is the latest 6 colour model from Epson. Currently, T50 CISS has been release, expecting T60 CISS to follow soon after.

I specialize in CISS and refill inks. Sorry I don't sell printers as;
- Printer price is quite standard everywhere.
- Shipping of the printer unit will increase the printer price to you.
- Printer warranty claim will be easier from the shop nearest to you.

Hi, need to ask

1. between dye and pigment ink, which one provide more ' impact ' on picture ? can we alternate  between them once ink run out ?

2. Can u PM me once chip for Epson T60 or TX 700 is available ? I was looking at R290 but since new Epson just introduced I might go 4 it.

3. Do you know what's the market price for Epson R1800 ? not that I'll buy it but I did go to Low Yat just to see R1390 in action and found it's styling old fashion and built quality lacking 4 the asking price! the Canon ix 4000/5000 looks so much neater ( if only it has 6 inks )
*
1. Pigment ink has more 'impact' BUT cost more. You can alternate once ink runs out. Recommend using Pigment printers with Pigment ink. Use Dye printer with Pigment Ink only if you know what your doing.

2. TX700 ezCISS can be ordered , T60 Chip still in R&D. R290 ezCISS stock ready and proven stable.

3. Epson R1800 needs to be special ordered from Epson. Estimating within RM2K range. It will not be cheap or easy to find the 8 colour refill ink locally. R1800 ezCISS can be ordered for you is you wish.

R1390 is RM1.2K range, best 6 colour printer in the market. The printer is a whopping 11kg! Many of my graphic design customers are using it. ezCISS for R1390 Stock ready.

Canon iX4000 / 5000 is only a 4 colour printer. Graphics resolution and quality is lower compared.

Advise to use Dye ink as the iP4680 is a dye printer.
