Hi, need to ask

1. between dye and pigment ink, which one provide more ' impact ' on picture ? can we alternate between them once ink run out ?

2. Can u PM me once chip for Epson T60 or TX 700 is available ? I was looking at R290 but since new Epson just introduced I might go 4 it.

3. Do you know what's the market price for Epson R1800 ? not that I'll buy it but I did go to Low Yat just to see R1390 in action and found it's styling old fashion and built quality lacking 4 the asking price! the Canon ix 4000/5000 looks so much neater ( if only it has 6 inks )

1. Pigment ink has more 'impact' BUT cost more. You can alternate once ink runs out. Recommend using Pigment printers with Pigment ink. Use Dye printer with Pigment Ink only if you know what your doing.

2. TX700 ezCISS can be ordered , T60 Chip still in R&D. R290 ezCISS stock ready and proven stable.

3. Epson R1800 needs to be special ordered from Epson. Estimating within RM2K range. It will not be cheap or easy to find the 8 colour refill ink locally. R1800 ezCISS can be ordered for you is you wish.

R1390 is RM1.2K range, best 6 colour printer in the market. The printer is a whopping 11kg! Many of my graphic design customers are using it. ezCISS for R1390 Stock ready.

Canon iX4000 / 5000 is only a 4 colour printer. Graphics resolution and quality is lower compared.

How much? Pigment or dye?

iP4680 ezCISS with Auto Rest Chip will be arriving in V28 shipment.

Advise to use Dye ink as the iP4680 is a dye printer.

Hi, you are correct. R1400 is for different region. R1390 is for ASIA region. It's the same model.
