The owner may have just added the emblems and modified a standard S-Class ....
A real Brabus S V12 has a 6.3 liter engine, right? So a look at the road tax could confirm whether it is genuine.

I just saw a Mercedes badged as a CLS63 AMG outside my office today, and it looked like the real deal .... but upon checking the road tax, I discovered that it was just a modified CLS350.
