yeah the phone is water and shock RESISTANT, not PROOF

2 different things. one means can tahan more than your normal stuff, the other one means its indestructable

and water resistance wise, i installed my old screen protector with the phone underwater for a good couple of minutes

shock proof wise, my phone fell countless of times already. And a few times it fell on tarmac. Once was coz i was playing with the gun app and i hit my friend's hand while pretending to be a sniper and the phone landed onto the tarmac and nothing happened other than a few scratches LOL

gonna install CMIUI soon. If that doesn't work for me, will try rewamped after that

last time im on MIUI but now stick to CMIUI!!...

backup are same for both version!..
let say if u backup data (contacts, messages etc), apps on MIUI, u can restore it back after flash to CMIUI.... vice versa!

so no worry...

me also like that 1st time but salimbest helped me a lot!

or any option can set that?

some scratches on defy or on cases? i cannot tahan c my devices got scratch la even abit -.- im weird defy owner though

btw,cmiui oso consume battery alot la..maybe i havent charge n callobrate batt yet...stay tune for another report from me!

My Setting.

Install official FroYo (if you have CM7, Miui, or any other rooted Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread with 2nd-init enabled rom go to step 4)
After setting up FroYo, root it.
Install CWM via 2nd-init from market.
reboot and run 2nd-init (voldown on blue LED)
Go to "Recovery"
Go to "Custom Recovery"
Go to "Wipe data"
Go to "Backup and Restore"
Go to "Restore"
Select "argen2stone" and confirm
reboot. You should get stuck in a black screen.
Flash the FixedSBF now (pull battery --> go to bootoloader VOLUP+Power, flash /defy/fixed-sbf via RSD-lite)
After this process is finished the phone should reboot. Booting up can take a while, max is about 10 minutes.
Charge your phone to 100% and keep it charging for an hour after.
Calibrate your battery using the pre installed apps.

i think u still can charge it using USB or adapter!
when blue light press volume down also nothing happen?
