QUOTE(adie82 @ Dec 5 2011, 04:11 PM) what version u use now? I'm still running on Android version 2.3.7 (MIUI-1.10.28) and it is already pretty fast & energy saving. i wonder what the new ICS can do.... actually i dont know what did he integrate it with but i can confirm that wajkiui run faster than CMIUI and battery tahan longer... but i downclock to 1ghz from default 1.1ghz... |

QUOTE(adie82 @ Dec 5 2011, 04:11 PM) what version u use now? I'm still on Android version 2.3.7 (MIUI-1.10.28). A bit ancient, but the speed and battery performance is still respectable. So that's why I'm still holding on to this version. Wait to see how is the new ICS performing before I will update again. actually i dont know what did he integrate it with but i can confirm that wajkiui run faster than CMIUI and battery tahan longer... but i downclock to 1ghz from default 1.1ghz... |

QUOTE(adie82 @ Dec 10 2011, 10:52 PM) @kysham: never quite bother with the backup facility, to be honest.... u can backup all the setting using default backup app? mine cant... if select wifi setting, desktop lay out, alarm setting, DND settings, it will FC... fail to backup!.... but user data like contacts, messages, call log, browser, balery, music, sound recorder can backup! |

the wajkiui 1.12.02 also is quite awesome! i unplugged from charger at around 6:00 am and by 1:00 am the following day, still got around 30% battery juice left. i used the phone as I normally would (phone calls, sms, whatsapp, facebook, emails, etc.) not much gaming though. i noticed if i play Reckless Driving (bought the game for USD 0.10 during promotion!), the battery will be depleted really quick.
p/s: you guys checking out android market's 10 billion downloads in 10 days promotion? it is running now for the past 3 or 4 days already. Everyday, 10 apps will be offered for only USD 0.10 each. the apps on promotion changes everyday. go check it out if you haven't done so. |
