er... how to disable prompt move data to sdcard everytime i restart or DC from PC un mount SDcard.. how?

A very happy and prosperous new year fellow Defyans. Just came back from my Christmas balik kampung in Sabah and it was awesome. I used my Defy under the rain and even bring it to do some sweaty palm oil harvesting at my dads orchard and it survived! Love my Defy..


Anyways, Iv'e been reading about the WajkIUI ROM thingy and it seems to be good in battery life. I'm currently on Cm7.

So.... meaning installing the WajkIUI is as simply as doing the Install Zip from SD Card under recovery?

as for apps. u can try backup using titanium ( but not 100% useable.. coz MIUI dun really like titanium backup i think.)
sms i suggest backup using GO SMS.

start from fresh is highly recommended ( mean wipe data also..)

Hmm there are two options One is Stable Version another is ICS Version. How do I choose the ones best for me?

Currently i use ics version. Build 1.12.16. Still waiting for 2.1.6 ics version.

I'm also on the ICS version. very cool. battery life is fantastic.

I using chainfire 2.8 (Chinese) version, a lot of them is using older version for solve the white background issue. Not sure what you mean by backstab

i'm using official miui 1.12.30. battery life slightly better than wajkiui. using defy dedicated to call/sms, no fancy widget, only a couple of rss feeds and other customization. i'm on 2g mode so any data sync i do it manually using wifi. sending email once in a while.. average counter so far around 85 hours during office hour. weekend usage around 100 hrs.

It's here now!

EDIT: Oops.. Not the ICS yet.. my bad..

I thought there's something mentioned like implementing the ICS hybrid framework?
I mean 2.1.6 ICS. WajkIUI has released 2.1.6 Stable version
