Hmm if im running on CMIUI, i just install it as the instruction stated in that link?
"Put the rom into the microsd, enter in recovery/mode, do a wipe-data and cache, and install as a zip file, then reboot!"
*
im not quite sure, because that is based on cm7 hmm.gif

This weeks ROM will be a small update focused on small optimisations and fixes. The development team are now focused on development of Ice Cream Sandwich for MIUI.

copy from miui web, chance for ics on our defy?

i've using cm7 7.1.11 for a week after shifting from cmiui, and my experience are:

-much more stable, less to none freezing occur
-better battery life
-the definitely phone feels faster and less sluggish, but quadrant score is lower than cmiui
