yeah the phone is water and shock RESISTANT, not PROOF

2 different things. one means can tahan more than your normal stuff, the other one means its indestructable

and water resistance wise, i installed my old screen protector with the phone underwater for a good couple of minutes

shock proof wise, my phone fell countless of times already. And a few times it fell on tarmac. Once was coz i was playing with the gun app and i hit my friend's hand while pretending to be a sniper and the phone landed onto the tarmac and nothing happened other than a few scratches LOL

gonna install CMIUI soon. If that doesn't work for me, will try rewamped after that

Btw, heres a quick fix for some of the old Defy's out there with pretty worn back cover locking mechanism Mine had the tendency to self-open while in my pocket sometimes and that causes problems

do backup,try flash back to stock rom and flash again back to miui

lor. u just buy taht normal universal batt charger only la.
RM10 only. use that to charge my 2nd battery during emergency

And yes, that scratch is the screen itself, not a screen protector. Who says Gorilla Glass is scratch-proof? I'm still running my phone naked though even with the scratches on the screen. Just feels better that way. The bare screen i mean, not the scratches

The scratches on the body mostly caused by falls onto tarmac. A few times from table, a few times when i was playing with the gun app, and a few more times when coming out from my car

And the back actually looks pretty good if you don't look at it too closely



Btw, speaking of battery, Battery Monitor Widget just reported my battery as having only 952mAh of capacity compared to 1500mAh of the battery! No wonder my battery life had been bad.

Don't forget 720p recording also depends on the camera unit that you have. Theres 2 types which are usually differentiated by green lens and red lens.

You look at your camera directly and if the reflection is green, yours can't record in HD
