I uploaded my resume in Jobstreet, from there i received many calls from headhunter to attend interview for position that is matched with my resume. You can try that too.

i am also searching for good headhunters. friends have advised me to becareful in engaging headhunters....as according to them many headhunters are very "fee" minded.

Real headhunters get their fees from the company when they help them fill a position. If a 'headhunter' is asking you for money then (i) he's just a job agent, and (ii) your skills and experience aren't worth much.

Normally headhunter operate by helping projects/companies get manpower, rather than help individuals find jobs.

Other they would be called "rolehunters" or "positionhunters" laugh.gif

+1. People always misuse or overuse the word headhunters.....there's a clear difference between a headhunter and a job agency...
If you are experienced, skillful in your area of expertise, network with people and maintain an impressive profile, head hunters look for you....You don't look for headhunters.

Children, hair, time, health, peace of mind. Lots of stuff that money cannot buy biggrin.gif

Back to the original question. Google around for more information. There are also different levels of headhunters, low level ones eg. Kelly Services, mid-range like Robert Walters and high end ones like Korn Ferry. Where you go and what you do depends a lot on your networking and who you know. Many headhunters depend on referrals to get trusted candidates so network more!

Hey all, Headhunters dont charge you a penny! Head hunters get paid from the company. and yes like many of you mentioned, there is a clear difference btw a job agency and a head hunter, and both dont charge you a penny.

I have a list of 350 head hunters that are active. If you need some help, contact me directly. If you are a head hunter, do contact me also, so i can enlist you in my list.

Best Regards
GR
