U want ur first car to be perfect n u bought a proton? Kinda condriticting...

Protons practically confirm will have problem....other brands, chances of having problems are lower

My advice...sell the proton n buy a perodua...lesser chances of problems

700 is cheap..... as for the holes... take note of the location of the holes and wats underneath it...

there was a neo with vented CF hood that ended up having hydro lock coz one of the vents was right above the open pod filter and water poured in when it rained

juz need some opinions from you guyz,
which one is better for city drive, 4-2-1 or 4-1....i still confuse bout this matters as got so many n different theory about these...

some people said 4-2-1 is good for city drive/street perfomance but some said the opposite as 4-1 can gain torque.. rclxub.gif

city drive means refer to brake and accelerate repetitively..so i guess city drive user doesnt need much top speed  but more prefer on torque improvement rite..

hope sifus here can explain to us... notworthy.gif

thanxxx

read HERE

a simple, easy to undestand explanation by drex...

then after that u decide... coz u urself know better how u drive and wats more important to u

new cps black owner...wvy...they said im the last person ever mnaged to get neo cps...hhihihi...
im here to ask all of u..
im currently using the stock rim which is 16'..
but im thinking of changing it to rim 15'..due to different about rm200 price of single tyre...
so u guys got any recommendation for 15' rims and tyre size that suitable with neo..n look great..if possible with price ok??..=D
*
find 15x7 rims... as for offset, mebbe +38 or +35? im not sure wats the offset of a stock neo cps....

then fit 205/50/15 tires... mebbe kumho ku36 for about rm300/piece if u want performance tires or 195/55/15

QUOTE(soonlee33 @ Dec 10 2011, 09:58 PM)
15" doesnt look right on neo cps  sweat.gif

yeah...agree wif u all...proton should provide higher tourque for our cps..aishhh...even stock cps also very lemauuu...

the downside of engines with VVT/ cam profile switch etc is low torque... CPS has the same amount of torque as the B16s...but much earlier tongue.gif

The stock engine has one coil that distribute the power to 4 of the plugs.. The idea is to give more ignition n firing power to the plugs, bcos there is one coil for one plug.. Same like saga.. Any one done this to their car here?
*
u need to check campros ECU whether or not it supports multi coil. if it does then theres a possibility u could do it easily...

otherwise, get ready for standalone management

Hey ive checked with some of my friends... They say that if i want to change it to individual coil, i might as well change the management... They quote me with to types that is the haltech and unichip... My question here is, who does the setting on the mangement? Or is it automaticly set to the engines requirement?
*
a tuner does the settings...

so mod smart. management usually comes last
*
this should only be done if ur timeline is short.. but if its in a long period and bit by bit... ur gonna need a better brain to be able to handle the muscle or future muscles...

imagine putting so much muscle over a long period of time... but not being able to tune it properly....not really a good idea. like example going super high comp...but cant tune a/f and u end up pinging like hell.....

retuning again and again may cost money... but at least its safe and u get to see ur improvements with every mod.

QUOTE(dibo @ Jan 5 2012, 05:54 PM)
If that isĀ  the case, what should i do now?
*
i say get the management (suggest haltech standalone) and COP if u want... but does the cost of the COP justify the gains? i know it does for hondas (just barely) coz honda distributors are utter crap and has a tendency of failing...but protons?

agreed...other mods that doesnt require management would be more ideal...

but if u insist on going with the COP conversion first.. then ull have no choice but to go management to support the coils. which u can also do it first... but as mentioned.. retuning is advisable to support ur future mods.

but again... the justification of cost vs gains is another thing to consider in regards to the COP. for all u know, it just might be better (and cheaper) to get something from MSD.

perhaps dibo should list out all his mods done and mods in the future IN PROPER ORDER according to this plans.. then mebbe we can see where to slot in the management part (n mebbe the coils oso)

considering that uve already done all that.....and ur only future mod is COP... then i guess the management and COP should be done 1 shot la...since u kinda have to do ur management if u wanna go COP.

and FYI, management, especially standalones, is not something most people would consider as "light mod"

haltech would prolly cost u around 4k...not inclusive of COP.

u can get piggybacks like unichip which would cost slightly more than half that...but not sure if it supports COP or not..i kinda doubt it honestly.

other mods u can consider would be port n polish... bigger throttle body or rebore current throttle body etc etc

piggyback is a management...

but i think u mean piggyback vs standalone?

if standalone means it totally replaces ur stock ecu...

piggyback is basically an addition to ur stock ecu.

u get more tuning options with standalone...coz ur basically starting the tune from scratch... piggyback is basically just altering the stock ecu settings

Wat are the difference between 5.1 n 4.1?

I am thinking to change to steel braided n uprated brake fluid n pad becos my last touge outing i can feel the paddle become harder after few hard braking..
*
dot 4 la...no dot 4.1

diff is basically the higher the dot.. the higher the boiling temp
