Today i try push my car to limit at skve higway...n the result is quite dissappointed..i felt that the engine still lack of power especially when the speed goes above 160km/h..n top speed i able to clock only 190km/h...i wish i my cps have more torque and power..huhu

Neo has stopped production.. Trust me
Took me a week before finding a CPS auto

And those that I found available, now all sold dy

huhu.. then my choice would be back to saga i guess cause i wanna wait for flx 1.6 before making my decision.

yup...manual tranny....

i still dont get it...is it my car has something wrong or the reality is thats the way cps is...

bcoz i once drove my frens swift sport..n believe me...there are huge difference in term of perfomce wise compare to our neo...

that swift sport felt much2 lighter during accelerate it and easily reach 200km/h without push the car hard which doesnt happen in my cps...


well..i guess i have to arrange a proper plan to upgrade my car's performance....

190kmh in manual tranny CPS is ok...thats standard...lighter 16" rim + change to R3 extractor for example can get u better pikap...

if u want more top speed...remove ur huge spoiler...fit them with r3 spoiler...u can feel the difference

Meh... What do u expect... U should be very happy u can get 190kmh. For a 1.6 to speed at that speed is consider ok lor. And not all cps can get that with stock ecu. Plus ur car is still new.

try changing adjustable cam pulley and change ur exhaust
then u will notice the change in the power band..

stock car is tune more on pickup as u use the car for daily drive = )

I wonder why alot of neo cps user unable to get more than 200kmh while I easily go beyond 200. I didnt own a neo cps, but drove my fren's at Federal. He cant, but I can. I do have a CPS, but a waja.

Yeah...my car is still new...maybe i'll wait after 2nd servce be4 pushing it hard again....anyway..thank a lot guys for ur advice....

wait until 4th service, and u really can feel the different. before this my car only can speed up to 160kmh. then if i press more pedal, only rpm will up, but speed still same. now after 4th service, it can go better than that. ECU still learning, what u have to do is wait.

history of my neo cps in 6K milage:

1. brake depan mengalami masalah ABS failure. Terkunci semasa brake diselekoh dan kereta dirasakan berat = masuk proton edar serv bachang melaka for 5 days.

2. service 1K. terdapat salah faham FREE service seperti yang tertera pada buku manual. penukaran barang kena bayar tetapi kos buruh percuma. apa beza dngan tukar minyak or air filter kat luar?? the same price lesser waiting time PLUS FREE labour charge.. guess what is the really meaning for FREE service in PROTON.

3. central lock problem, steering horn hate to used.. need to press hard. thats is ok, the proton erdar serv centre order the central lock parts. Lacthing parts something lke thats. takes 6 week. I wonder they order from LOTUS. i got worried wether they got LUPA. so i call them after 5 week, apparently, the part have arrived 3 weeks b4 n no one ever call me to attend the repair as promised by the service advisor .. on the day I told about the central lock on 1K service b4. I attend the date with the serv centre to repair my central lock. Took 6 hours to complete it. It was fasting month. Really upset n tired of waiting. Now its ok.

4. yesterday I make my 5K service. I look at the wall, there is TIK TOK TIK TOK. Only 60 minutes and ur car are ready again. I arrived at 9.15 am, appointment at 8.45. ist not my fault becoz there is a fatal dead accident at LDP. Really long traffic jams. I told the serv advisor, lucky for me ots the same woman who adv me on my 1K serv. I told about my ratling sound at engine bay. After 2 hours waiting n no one serve me the free coffee finally my cars ready. I hope the rattling sound gone, but the serv advisor told me they need to order parts. N will call me when the item arrived. I wonder ther really calling me or I gonna be calling them again. N maybe they order the parts from LOTUS again that that 6~7 week again like before.

Banyak lagi problem, mls je nk cakp.. sakit ati jerk… I wont sell my car coz its my 1st car. So I begging to proton, inspect the car bery strictly before pass it to the new owner. Ini baru 6K milage belom lagi 10K, 100K, 200K.

is tat is ur topspeed?

4-order parts is normal if they dun have parts in stock.

but just the latching parts at central lock, do it really need more than 5 week???

1. abs problem,

2. horn problem,

3. central lock problem,

4. problem wif SC.. promised to call me after the part arrived, them i called them u know.. that thing already arrived but no one calling me.

i don mind about the problem, i care about the management.. how can proton lepas kan my car during final inspection before they passed it on me??

maybe u r going to wrong proton SC...

try another proton SC or i would like to recommend my SC...Khasiat Jati Sdn Bhd...good service from them...

all warranty taken seriously n really solve the problem...

but for parts...me also like u before...need to wait if they dun have the spares at the moment u come n claim...

oh yea...the service centre gives u free coffee but bancuh sendiri...n free wifi...n even provide u with PC to browse internet

how can they provide coffee to high profile person?? but for low person kena mabil sendiri.. lol..

FREE wifi?? it so bored la play internet. my office always donlod, open facebook 5min already bored.

THE sc provide pc? never seen it at all, it it provide just a free toilet to customer berak.

i go to sc puchong.. just 20 minutes from there, there is SHAH ALAM PROTON CENTRE provide spare parts.. then how come my part need 5 week??

my part special ka?? order from LOTUS i pressumed

never had any problem with my housemate's proton saga...
the sc at Jln Ipoh has good service
from top to toe..
I manage 3 proton car now...

2. semua pun sama. mana ada sc yang bagi minyak everything is free. be it honda/merc/ das auto. - salah sendiri.
3. horn button issue. about parts order, yes, proton sc is lousy on reclaiming. need to push them
4. like no 3, need to push them. as long as the SC is operated by Malaysian. be it merc/honda/toyota. search around about it.

ur 1st car? no wonder u complaint alot hahahha
