QUOTE(nodeffect @ Jul 12 2011, 09:35 AM) Custom ROM tweaks the original ROM and add in more functions like, making the wifi better, able to overclock the CPU(you can do this by rooting also), and much more... read their features on their forum, you can find the links at first page. I recommend using Virtuous Unity 1.27.0 Sense 3.0 based on Pyramid... which is a quite stable ROM... read their forum to know more... jenwww, this ROM can go to 1.7 GHZ but not very stable..... you can read more on their official forum. Thx for ur info buddy! =D

I'm so fed up with the gps of this phone! If i disable the location determined by Wifi/mobile network option,
solely dependent on the gps satellites signal to determine my location, it seems to take forever to detect my location!
Should go to the htc customer care centre to fix it? or is it the problem everyone encounters with this phone??? =(

Mine is singapore SiS set. same here... when using wifi/2g/3g it will detect
my location instantly. i think it has both GPS and A-GPS. I have tried using
GPS Status app and i still got the result of my gps status without any
connection regardless of wifi/data network but it took like 10-15 minute to
show the result. After that, i tested with Sygic Navigator
and thank god it worked! What i did was.... i went outdoor and took off
the cover. And then later i tried again using Sygic Navigator, sadly, it failed
to detect my location again. =( How come? no idea.
