er..im having some confusion here..hope anyone can clarify..

so my ds is on 2.3.5..the bootloader ver is 2.00.0002 and still locked..

is it the official ics for ds is out?..how to update??using htc sync or run the utility available from http://htcdev.com/devcenter/downloads?

just update with eu ruu..so far so good..

search under device "desire s", version "4.0"..got RUU for WWE region..however the filename said its EU region..

What i did was enable usb debugging, connect to comp, run the ruu and follow the instruction on screen..no sweat..

Hi all..

I just unlocked my 2.00 hboot and flashed with cyanogenmod 7. And it turns out the rom is based on 2.3.7 which is quite old.

Am wondering is there any good latest stable rom for desire s. I would like to give a try.

Another question, if im about to flash different rom, how can i backup everything i mean everything, current rom, configurantions, installed apps..should i use titaniumbackup or recovery manager? Quite confuse bout the functionality of these two..

titanium works fine for me..so easy to backup,restore everything..

eh, how to turn on 3x4 keypad ar and edit lockscreen application shortcut? i tried search for the settings by somehow im missing something..hurmm
