Look for V6 Supercharger script in XDA. You can tweak your free memory settings with it. Should have no more lag after that.

Trying out ICS. Not bad for a beta. Still no camera though. And market crashes. `-` Everything else seems fine though.

Really scary hearing you guys having dead memory chip. Read about it a lot on XDA Dev.
Mine is a pretty early batch and it seems ok so far. Should be 8 months old now. Moving on. A little taste of ICS tweaked by Virtuous Team on my Desire S. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Most people still doesn't know HTC but at least they're doing a bit more nowadays in terms of marketing. They know Samsung more and they will usually go for W.
Good news though, DS will get Sense 4 but later this year. Sos: https://www.facebook.com/notes/htc/update-o...150762287733084 |

Yup pulling battery causes it. But not everyone have this problem.
Some people phone died in the middle of updating multiple apps from the market. Really weird. Basically your phone won't boot at all. |

Don't put so much hope on quick official update to ICS. It will take a few months to be ready usually.
But if you're itchy, there's already a ROM ported from One V. As it has Sense Lite it should be perfect for our hardware. But i don't think we will have any problem at all running a ROM from One X with the full fledge Sense 4. |

RD MIUI V4 is insanely nice even though it's still WIP.
[attachmentid=2786154][attachmentid=2786155] The paint at the back of my DS is slowly corroding after 1 year. Thinking of using a sandpaper to take all the paint off lol. |

QUOTE(afzal_m @ Apr 30 2012, 09:59 PM) I have a question to ask. My hboot version is 2.000.0002, S-ON, and reading over the first page, it mentioned that Revolutionary only works for hboot 0.98.0002? Now that you've rooted your stock ROM, you can now install the recovery. Is there a way to root my phone and still be able to use custom roms while still maintaining my hboot version? I've had this phone for almost a year now and I finally have the balls to try to root it hahahah. Some help is very much appreciated -==EDIT==- I manage to do it heh. Just would like to know which ROM(s) are you all using (for those who rooted their phones, of course) Thanks! Backup first your stock ROM using the recovery just in case you want to go back. And then go ahead format the phone and install whatever ROM you want. The backup is in your SD card so it's safe there. I'm using MIUI 4 since i personally like it. Still not perfectly stable though. |

QUOTE(nodeffect @ May 2 2012, 06:50 PM) Hey man, what bugs did u encounter with MIUI4? I feel like giving it a try but scare not stable enough for everyday use.... Just some random freezes. Most of the time it's ok though. Everything seems to work.QUOTE(afzal_m @ May 3 2012, 12:55 AM) Hey guys, thanks for the replies After using custom ROM i doubt you'll want to go back hehe... but you can still install it back if you want. I think there's a thread where they compile stock rooted ROM somewhere on XDA.I rooted my phone using this guide, still S-ON though. I'm using Endymion ROM as well. I'm also still looking around to see if there are any ROMs which I might be interested in using later on. @Joseph Hahn, I did not back up my stock ROM and jumped straight to formatting the phone and installing a custom ROM. Will I be able to go back to my stock ROM then? |

Bump. Our device is very much alive. New DS ROM leak seems to have caused a chain reaction in DS XDA forum. Now downloading lowveld Sense 4 ROM!

Euro update. For our region no idea. Waiting for custom ROM based on it.
