TO ALL FELLOW PPLYNC MEMBERS WHO ARE DRIVING PERSONA ELEGANCE:
If you have ever experienced sounds (tak tak tak tak tak) coming from your engine during cold start in the morning, then it MAY BE one of the infamous Proton's manufacturing defect: the IAFM problem. IAFM noise is most noticeable during cold start, and you may hear the frequency of the noise going up or down depending on the RPM that the engine is running at. The noise is identical to a diesel truck or lorry's engine idling noise. Once the engine has warmed up, the noise will become softer or totally eliminated. This is because the plastic components on one of the valves on IAFM expands with heat. Below is a video of a member's car with IAFM problem.
So far the problems that may be associated with IAFM noise are nothing major, but in certain cases it may cause severe throttle lag, and the noise may get louder over time. Some owners have even experienced increase in fuel consumption and bad engine response.
If you visit the service centre and the mechanic or service attendant tells you that the noise is not caused by IAFM as our Persona Elegance comes with new batch of IAFM modules, DO NOT believe what they said.
You may: 1.) Ask them to diagnose and tell you what exactly is the problem since they insisted that it's not IAFM module noise. 2.) If the mechanics at CoSE tell you that the noise is not caused by IAFM, go to a few different SCs, have them to check your IAFM module for imperfections on the valve, then get them to write a report each. Compile these reports & bring it to CoSE's customer service and file a complaint, give it to their higher authority.
Now, do remember that they may not be able to figure the noise out if you send your car to SC as the engine has already warmed up. Park your car and leave it there for an hour or so for the engine to cool down, then get the service attendant or mechanic to listen to the noise as you start the engine.
Again, I would like to stress on this main point as I've experienced this myself and wasted almost a month plus before sending it to a different SC just to have the noise diagnosed as IAFM problem; If the guys at CoSE tells you that it's not IAFM problem but your guts and 13 other SCs tell u that it is, then it IS IAFM problem. In my case they never even bothered to check as the engine has already warmed up and the sound was gone by the time the mechanic laid his hands on my car.
This serves as an important announcement to all Persona Elegance (PE) owners as to not overlook this small issue that may lead to greater problems in the future. The price of IAFM modules has dropped since year 2009 (from RM 1200+ in late 2008 to RM 2xx in 2011) because of the frequency of Campro IAFM engines having this problem. Still, it's our right to claim the IAFM modules as they are covered under warranty and malfunctioned units are manufacturing defects. We should not wait till the warranty period is over and then pay them RM300+ including labour to fix a defect that is there from day 1 of ownership of the car itself.
I hope all the Persona Elegance owners out there take note of this issue and do not keep an eye closed.

after finish service, the same machenic fat guy, take my car for test drive, again nvr slow down, becoz the floor is slightly senget, this time my front bumper hit the floor, he jus buat tak tau n drive one round. his work ethic reli bad.
when service, before the oil finish dripping he ald close the nut, then i told him to remove n let it drip for few more minutes.
pls avoid this SC at all cost. wat can i get from them as compensation arr?

Pls add my customer review for Senaxis. I have already complain to i-care but i tink thr is no action to be taken from them as i had to call thm numerous times to gt a reply from them. The issues that i had to face until i change a diff place.
a. On the first day of obtaining the car from Atiara, there was an issue with the left hand side door window. Water was able to leak in from contact point between the rubber and window. It seems that the run channel rubber is faulty. The item was not changed, what the service center personnel did was just to apply a whitish liquid to recondition the rubber and put it back in place. After going back there for more than 3times and complaining on the same problem only were they satisfied to replace the run channel rubber for me. In addition to all this, I was charged RM3.50 for processing fee. So much inconvenience caused and I am still charged a processing fee? What kind of service is this?
b. After 2 to 3 weeks of driving, I found that there was a knocking sound coming from my front right hand side. The knocking sound only appears when cornering on uneven ground. It was very prominent when driving up and down of Carrefour multi level parking. I complaint at Senaxis about this issue. They tried a few times to identify the problem but was not able to detect it. Therefore, I did some checking of my own. I found out from the internet and some friends that there was some issue with the previous design of the power steering fluid delivery unit. When i inform Senaxis about this, the answer from them was that my unit was the latest design and the issue was not from there. In addition, the mechanic there was telling me that this was the infamous Carrefour sound and there was no remedies for it at the moment even after I highlighted that it was from the power steering fluid delivery unit. Finally, i got it fixed when I send my car to CoSE. There was no questions asked and the power steering fluid delivery unit was changed as it was a known issue (when I asked the person attending to my car)
c. After 2 months of driving, I was faced with another issue. There was a high pitch screeching sound coming from the fan belt auto tensioner. After sending it to Senaxis, the mechanic informed me that it was normal for the sound to appear and that we (the drivers) are to concern as we do not know that this sound has no effect on the car what-so-ever and that we are just paranoid as the car is still new. The mechanics there just took out the unit and sand paper the part and told me that it is very dirty due to high silicone compound in the belt. After that, they told me that the issue has been resolved. Upon reaching home from the service center, the sound returned again. I went back there again (27th May 2011) after approximately a week plus. They did the same thing again. (Sand paper the part). The sound was still there after the unit was placed back with an addition of a knocking sound. They told me to return again another day to service the unit. I was forced to return to them again. This was on 31st May 2011. What they did was the same thing again – sand paper the part to “clean the dust”. When asked why isn’t the unit replace as it has been time and time again having the same issue, they informed me that it was not under proton to replace the part. The car is brand new, less than 9000km. The 3rd service has not been done yet. Why is it not faulty if it is having the similar issue even after it has been serviced? In addition, the mechanic told me that it was the best that they are able to do. There is nothing else that can be done. (I need to live with this defect?) What kind of efficient service is this?
d. service personnel are not professional in performing their tasks as they do not look into the proper manner to jack up a car. In two occasions, my side skirt were pressed in between the car jack and the car’s body. I am unsure whether there is any internal damage caused to the clips as it is not visible.
This is d same email i sent to i-care as a complain. So guys and gals pls b a gud Samaritan n blacklist tis place.

Got one skinny mechanic wearing black shirt dark skin very lazy and kinda dirty. Hand,shirt all black and touch my car.Never cover my seat but cincai cover the floor mat with news paper. I test drive with him to let him hear where the sound is coming from. He was like enjoying the ride rather than listening to my complaint. Then he go test drive my car. He put reverse got loud KERRRR sound. When he got back, he told the sound was normal. I said where got normal, he go put grease on the rubber.ZZZ and for the bitument layer gap,he said looks normal to me. Haiz, this kind of attitude,no use asking too much. If normal, I won't be wasting my time coming. Sorry for the long story. Just sharing my experience.
Common Problem in Persona

Problem 1: Knocking sound when cornering on uneven surface coming from Front RHS Causes: This is due to the power steering fluid delivery piping knocking against the metal pipe and the body underneath it as the uneven road causes it to twitch up and down. OLD Pipe (left) vs New Pipe (right) [attachmentid=1911676][attachmentid=1911677]
Solution: Proceed to Proton SC to claim warranty for Power Steering fluid assembly. Claims are FOC, including the power steering fluid. Parts list they will change for this new power steering assembly. 1)Tube B - PW828913N 2)Tube A - PW828914N 3)Hose Return - PW828915N 4)Rubber Hose - PW820961 5)Clip Pressure - PW820962 6)Orifice Valve - PW895228
Problem 2: Radio hangs/not responsive while driving and no buttons seems to response to press. Causes: The RDS function is scanning for a clearer frequency. Due to different frequency for the same radio station overlapping certain areas while driving, this causes the radio to re-tune the station. Solution: Turn off the RDS function loh. Go read the manual on how to do it.
Problem 3: Klock klock sound coming from the rear seat. (Not applicable for B-Line ) Causes: The foldable rear seat hook has a bit of free play. Solution: Wrap some thick cushion type double sided tape to the hook.
Tips for Persona Users (To be Updated)

1)Most SC uses Petronas engine oil. To use other engine oil, exp Shell Helix HX-7, its recommended to go to authorized service outlets instead. 2)Stock brake pads are softer than Sponge Bob. Tires Most silent = Primacy LC, slightly poor grip on wet roads (a tradeoff for less noise). Dry Grip High Performance = Bridgestone Potenza RE001, Toyo T1R (A wee bit noisier than RE001) Wet Grip High Performance = Yokohama S-Drive, Pirelli P Zero (Rare)
Help to calculate FC Register at http://www.fuelly.com/ and post it in ur siggy. Maybe in the next Version of the thread we can reserve the 2nd post for FC monitoring by forumers.. Or another ideal way to calculate is to 1) Fill full tank petrol and reset trip meter 2) Drive car like mad fella or slow like aunty.. 3) When u need to refill the tank (no matter is only used half tank only or use till no more petrol in tank), top it back up to full tank (remember to note down how many litres filled in, using the price instead is subjective as petrol price fluctuates up and down and may affect future comparison). 4) Jot down mileage from previous full tank till refill and reset trip meter again. 5) Calculate (FC= Total mileage/Litres filled to top up back to full tank). 6) Post it up onto our club here for comparison. State ( XX% city driving / YY%highway) in XX KM/L format..

juz test drive the golf 1.4TSI..damn powerful car..and the tyre will spin when i rev to 6k rpm..and the interior very solid..but feel a bit lag during pick up time..but once hit around 3k rpm above,the power damn syiok lo..but i oso feel the brake too sensitive even press a bit onli..and oso went to naza showroom to look for the R35 since my uncle wanna buy it oso to replace his c200..and buy the golf oso..

H-Line only auto. Their marketing skill damn good manual only M-Line if want auto need get H-line because of ABS or else auto sucks badly...

Mine is M-Line original fabric seat, but got think of purchase Add On leather seat cover b4, saw on Brothers, not cheap so just leave it....
if i not remember wrong, that time the price i saw is RM1200++

yea true i also don't like the auto because of no full control of the car. If u can master manual even driving M-Line like having ABS and EBD in it .
Better get M-Line then change to semi bucket much more comfortable. I think the add on leather would cost more then 2k?

RM1200 for wrap on leather seat cover? What a rip off man.. I know a guy in Selayang that can get ur seats wrapped in leather of ur choice (even Italian genuine bull leather also got) for RM 800-1500, depending on quality of leather u chose..

Go get it checked at SC lah.. The PDT can detect the error code & reason for it once plugged into the ECU..

The nozzle problem lah.. The vacuum sensor in the nozzle is faulty, causing the pump not being able to stop in time.. Ur fuel tank or pump wont cause this to happen..

Yeah. It's somewhat 'leathery' to be exact, while the M/B-line is more like rough but soft plastic. M/B-line dashboard have more gloss to it than H-lines. And even so, PE's B-line interior still much better than Inspira, especially the door panels.

Light mods lor.. Exhaust, LCP, air filter, high cam, adjustable cam pulley.. Total gains from the mods that I mentioned can give around 30-40+ WHP boost..
That's what I love so much about the E46 M3.. With some light tunings and exhaust mods easily reach 400+ WHP.. And best of all it's an NA engine, so u know it's reliable..

Instead of complimenting how nice their dress is, compliment how nice the lace, or the pattern or whatever (use ur kelentong creativity) to how she looks or her body shape.. exp say how nice her purple top matches her dark green skirt.. (girls SOLE REASON for purchasing so many clothes is so that they got a top for every skirt they have and a skirt for every top they have).. Not to mention custom bodykits & Scissor doors & also HID.. I once modded n tuned my Hummer so extreme that it can outrun a Skyline GTR in a drag race..

Their test track are usually off limits to customers like us lah.. RM1200 for wrap on leather seat cover? What a rip off man.. I know a guy in Selayang that can get ur seats wrapped in leather of ur choice (even Italian genuine bull leather also got) for RM 800-1500, depending on quality of leather u chose.. No lah.. Some people prefer the PE mah.. B-line PE & Saga FL full spec, I'll still choose B-line PE manual.. More spacious, bigger boot & better interior quality.. Saga dashboard seriously feel a bit plasticky for me..
Oh, and not to mention (this I found out myself), that H-line PE's dashboard have a better touch/feel to it than M/B-line.. Go get it checked at SC lah.. The PDT can detect the error code & reason for it once plugged into the ECU..

Never had the chance to am still dying to get a PS3, but I guess it won't happen for quite some time..my salary will partly go to savings for dp for my new car, as well as some investments.. Which left me like what, about RM 1k a month to spend on necessities...ok lah.. Can live with it

I remembered modding a GTR34 in GT2 until about 1k hp.. that was on my PS1 10 years ago
Now Im living with less than RM 500 a month leh.. Samore need to pay petrol.. Not easy lar.. Of cos things will be more manageable when I start working again.. Can't wait for my 1st paycheck from my new workplace..

Well.. If u actually think about it & realise how *slow* some lady drivers drive on the road, u'd probably understand why her FC is so much lower than urs..
Light mods lor.. Exhaust, LCP, air filter, high cam, adjustable cam pulley.. Total gains from the mods that I mentioned can give around 30-40+ WHP boost..
That's what I love so much about the E46 M3.. With some light tunings and exhaust mods easily reach 400+ WHP.. And best of all it's an NA engine, so u know it's reliable..
i guess u left out ECU right since u having a middle mod...
They thought u singaporean mah.. Cos singaporeans damn kiasu & cheapskate come KL wanna eat big portion with half the price.. HAHAHAHAH!! Never go Swatow Lane? Or go mainland for food.. Quite nice also..

ECU considered quite heavy already lar.. Standalone already goin up to RM4k plus.. Furthermore for now it's still quite impossible to tune our cars' ECU or add another ECU & make it synchronize & work without the original settings overwriting the aftermarket ECU over time..

Because his LCP is not of optimum weight, and his exhaust setup pushes mid to top range RPM. Hotbits gives u the low RPM torque, and with the LCP it's boosted even further.

It seems that the run channel rubber is faulty. The item was not changed, what the service center personnel did was just to apply a whitish liquid to recondition the rubber and put it back in place. After going back there for more than 3times and complaining on the same problem only were they satisfied to replace the run channel rubber for me. In addition to all this, I was charged RM3.50 for processing fee. So much inconvenience caused and I am still charged a processing fee? What kind of service is this?
b. After 2 to 3 weeks of driving, I found that there was a knocking sound coming from my front right hand side. The knocking sound only appears when cornering on uneven ground. It was very prominent when driving up and down of Carrefour multi level parking. I complaint at Senaxis about this issue. They tried a few times to identify the problem but was not able to detect it. Therefore, I did some checking of my own. I found out from the internet and some friends that there was some issue with the previous design of the power steering fluid delivery unit. When i inform Senaxis about this, the answer from them was that my unit was the latest design and the issue was not from there. In addition, the mechanic there was telling me that this was the infamous Carrefour sound and there was no remedies for it at the moment even after I highlighted that it was from the power steering fluid delivery unit. Finally, i got it fixed when I send my car to CoSE. There was no questions asked and the power steering fluid delivery unit was changed as it was a known issue (when I asked the person attending to my car)

just go to world car care..n my noise when cornering uneven road no settle yet..they say the new persona car (my car not yet two month) proton already repair the power stering asembly.. but they detect my front left absorber problem..they will change it about two weeks time..need to order first.. i dont know if change absorber can settle it...

1 main difference is the rims.. U try drive ur mom's car and then drive ur car.. U will know the difference.. Somemore its ur mom leh, she will drive conservatively..

Sam installed a not really lightened one..A properly lightened crank pulley is around 1/3 of its ori weight.. The ori CP weights 1.9kg.. ideal lightened weight is 600grams like the mythelogy one..
Btw i heard works came out with a new LCP for campro that weights around 600grams..

High cam is specially made camshaft that can increase the valve lift.. So u get more air and fuel into the combustion chamber.. Improving high RPM power by a lot..

i felt my car still can go...just the road is bumpy and not straight enuf...n tat time my car boot full load and carry 3 person... bola kecut to go any faster....but all the way go 150-160 no problem...very stable...my car still as stock as it come out factory.... just did 1k service only

High cam? High profile camshafts to be exact.. The camshafts in our engine are designed optimally for smooth idling, smooth power delivery & low emission & FC.. The high profile camshafts are designed with a higher-degree lobe to advance/retard the inlet/exhaust valve opening, but ur car's idling will be quite rough and FC will be slightly higher. Yet by doing this u get around 15-30 HP gain depending on ur adjustable cam pulley tunings, piggyback/standalone ECU tuning and ur engine's original capacity..

Depending on the torque band that u prefer, u can mess around a bit with the exhaust setups. Get the swirling bullet with hotbits extractor, u'll never regret it & ur low end torque band changes tremendously.. LCP helps, air filter helps from 3k RPM onwards, or u can go straight for Cold Air Intake. Carbon air intake will help as well, but this requires the dismantling of ur original airbox and replacing it with a open-pod air filter, as well as building a heat shield around it. This works very well to improve low end torque, but high end ur car will suffer kaw kaw..
Once I used the wrong setup (wrong bullets & extractor) on my PE's exhaust system, I went to Duke, press till habis my top speed 160 only. Low end power cannot be felt at all. So it was practically useless, that setup. My car's idling became very bad during cold start due to improper placement of O2sensor, and it scared the shit out of me a couple of time when I step on the accelerator pedal & there's no response. This is because the O2Sensor works with the presence of heat & exhaust gas, and so the exhaust shop fella placed the sensor AFTER the flexipipe (a.K.a nenas), causing the O2sensor to not be able to get any readings during cold start & wet weather because the flexipipe sort of insulated/separated the heat from the extractor & the sensor.
What I did was I revamped the whole exhaust system, chunked away the cap ayam extractor, plonked in a Hotbits' extractor with the O2sensor at the intersection of the 2nd & 3rd pipe, a swirling bullet, and a midbox. Tested the power after that, damn impressed. Then I replaced the original muffler with an aftermarket S-flow, been happy with the power ever since till it's now passed into Zeng's car.

ur setup is for manual wow...Zeng just plug n play can suit his Auto?? btw, ur setup is how much? FC drop or increase after tat? i heard Zeng car is very silent with this setup. i like silent assassin= +

Nope.. Stock also my top speed 205.. Depends whether ur balls is made of steel, titanium or platinum.. Max I go 215 nia.. With a bit more mods can push it to 230 I'm very sure, but enough la.. Now I'm a sane driver, everyday max speed 110 nia..

Who said my setup is for manual? & my car is auto as well..

Yesterday afternoon just back home from KL and i off engine for a while the turn the key to ON i can hear the fluid sucking sound from outside my car, i knew it was the fuel pump cause evey time when we turn the Key ON the sound from behind was the fuel pump ready to pump and feed, but yeaterday the sound i hear was like those sucking fluid sound from empty container but my fuel level are half tank and double confirm my km meter are yet to reach the refuel level. I try few time On and OFF the sound are same. The sound are scary me, but this moning i am not notice this, any one having this sound before. One thig i notice the last 2 tank of petrol my FC improved around 0.5L/km but performance not effected, i am very worried it was the earlier sign of fuel pump GG

Yesterday afternoon just back home from KL and i off engine for a while the turn the key to ON i can hear the fluid sucking sound from outside my car, i knew it was the fuel pump cause evey time when we turn the Key ON the sound from behind was the fuel pump ready to pump and feed, but yeaterday the sound i hear was like those sucking fluid sound from empty container but my fuel level are half tank and double confirm my km meter are yet to reach the refuel level. I try few time On and OFF the sound are same. The sound are scary me, but this moning i am not notice this, any one having this sound before.
U sure it's fluid sucking sound & not ur radiator fan sound? If u drive very fast or accelerate very constantly then ur engine bay will be very hot.. Then ur radiator have to work overtime to cool it down.. But what I can suggest is u can check ur engine radiator water level, and then the reserve tank water level to check that it's adequate..

Got difference.. The note is slightly deeper & bassy..
The muffler affects a lot as it's the last piece in the exhaust system that creates backpressure. Without backpressure our auto PE will have bad top end power..

Last time bought Magnatec at 79.90 (Tesco). Don't know still have this price or not. BTW, after using it the engine running very smoothly compare to Syntium.

the socket are standrad just the pin inside are empty and the switch console are design without the flip button. Only the PCB are universal and the flip mirror circuit already there.

my fren wira 1.5 install high cam..d car langsung no power lo..maybe due to he doesnt install d adjustable cam pulley
Exactly. The cam pulley adjusting is very important in order to adjust the proper timing of the inlet & exhaust valve. If u run on high cam but stock cam pulley that's meant to time stock camshafts then it will cause the power to decrease more or irregular.

Change oil, oil filter and plug gasket. Other thing can reject. if not, your waterfish neck will have lots of blood.

u change a car so that u win ur friend?? go bolt on ur PE with turbo 1.2 bar then sure can win the mivec.

Nope.. Stock also my top speed 205.. Depends whether ur balls is made of steel, titanium or platinum.. Max I go 215 nia.. With a bit more mods can push it to 230 I'm very sure, but enough la.. Now I'm a sane driver, everyday max speed 110 nia..

Manual can use.. But I'm not sure how well S-flow muffler will work with manual PE. Cos pretty much everything is the same for the setup except the muffler.
Full exhaust? At that time my hotbits was RM 470-480, bullet RM 120 (or was it RM 150?), mid box RM 120 (or RM150, either one way or the other). S-flow muffler depend on which 1 u like, may cost RM 200-400 depending on ur preference.

Depending on the torque band that u prefer, u can mess around a bit with the exhaust setups. Get the swirling bullet with hotbits extractor, u'll never regret it & ur low end torque band changes tremendously.. LCP helps, air filter helps from 3k RPM onwards, or u can go straight for Cold Air Intake. Carbon air intake will help as well, but this requires the dismantling of ur original airbox and replacing it with a open-pod air filter, as well as building a heat shield around it. This works very well to improve low end torque, but high end ur car will suffer kaw kaw..
Once I used the wrong setup (wrong bullets & extractor) on my PE's exhaust system, I went to Duke, press till habis my top speed 160 only. Low end power cannot be felt at all. So it was practically useless, that setup. My car's idling became very bad during cold start due to improper placement of O2sensor, and it scared the shit out of me a couple of time when I step on the accelerator pedal & there's no response. This is because the O2Sensor works with the presence of heat & exhaust gas, and so the exhaust shop fella placed the sensor AFTER the flexipipe (a.K.a nenas), causing the O2sensor to not be able to get any readings during cold start & wet weather because the flexipipe sort of insulated/separated the heat from the extractor & the sensor.
What I did was I revamped the whole exhaust system, chunked away the cap ayam extractor, plonked in a Hotbits' extractor with the O2sensor at the intersection of the 2nd & 3rd pipe, a swirling bullet, and a midbox. Tested the power after that, damn impressed. Then I replaced the original muffler with an aftermarket S-flow, been happy with the power ever since till it's now passed into Zeng's car.
Open-pod sure good in pickup and overtake others. I once installed before but now i plug out and change to drop in stainless steel air filter. Open pod not so good for auto if you don mind the fuel , so when i press fuel peddle and my gear will auto shift and drag my car for quite sometime when using open-pod.
You can feel the power but u need to scarified your petrol. For manual you can control your speed. So mostly ppl install open-pod in manual car. the air sucking sound produce by open pod is so damn good. i still miss it.
I do install redline LCP which sam sold to me. After install can feel the car pickup more easier. Plan to go for exhaust setup soon. No matter what LCP you install, as long is lighter than the ori one will improve your car pickup. Seriously i compare the ori with the redline crank pulley before in both hands. Big diff

Open-pod sure good in pickup and overtake others. I once installed before but now i plug out and change to drop in stainless steel air filter. Open pod not so good for auto if you don mind the fuel , so when i press fuel peddle and my gear will auto shift and drag my car for quite sometime when using open-pod.

If FC is ur priority, go for LCP. If a balance of power & FC is ur priority, exhaust. But do remember that the effect of LCP increases as u add other mods to your car...

He never put in piggyback mah.. The ori Wira 1.5 barely have any electronics.. Then with high cam, the extra airflow is not compensated by extra fuel.. how to gain the power.. Somemore the stock fuel injectors are very small and the fuel rail might choke to deliver the fuel.. He needs a piggyback (E-manage blue will do), FPR, bigger injectors, bigger fuel rail and better spark plugs cos u are going to run a bit more leaner.

the 2.7whp per pound is just claims lah.. On real world test the mythelogy increased 2.5whp by reducing 1.3kg of weight.. So its almost 2whp for every KG reduced.

Actually putting in LCP do increase power to the wheels as well as improve FC.. Exhaust increases power from the engine at the same or slightly higher FC..

U can choose between Mythelogy & Redline. Mythelogy at 630+ grams, Redline 900+ grams. Don't really need to clean lah.. If u've thought of cleaning, u obviously haven't own a white car before.. Just go for standard opti-coating.. Ur paint will look like new even if u do not wash ur car as often because the water marks are harder to form on ur car.. If 159 is available in white I'll surely get it..

Oh icic.. I was working there and I need overnight there to take care the sound equipment.. A lot of mosquito visit me during night time so I had to sleep inside my car After total of 10hours sleeping in the car and travel 280KM only 10.5L/100km

If you are doing normal service only, need wait 60 minutes. Last Friday I go there to service and claim warranty also around less than 2 hours waiting.

Mozguard. Can get from Guardian. There are several cheaper local brands but I use the more expensive one coz our skin has to take care, use good wan...UK branded. Good for mosquitos, sandfly, etc..
However I only use that when going on hiking or beach. Wanted to sleep comfortably, not going to spray that on me....
For passive usage, like sleeping use those stick on sticker type wan...the smell will drive mosquito away...if one not enuf, stick few more pieces around your body...at least body won't feel sticky. Guardian also got sell. 10 strips per box.

as i know persona car when turn on aircond is loud. even the saga blm too. you can know when a saga blm or persona is passing by in a neighbourhood bcoz of the aircond sound plus the fan. but i wonder why exora and neo sound is softer.

No lah LCP buy from performance part shop.. Then bring to tyre shop to install..
The paint will be about the same la.. cos they mix the paint before spraying. The colour will be the same.
My aircond noise very light wor.. Not loud also.. Except early morning when the compressor kicks in for the 1st time..

those who got sound try install VS + GC see it helps or not.

Initially I also tot the bosch brake pad sucks big time. Then after it settled in after a few hundred km, its turns out to be ok for normal avg non rev driver.
Those used to 500C brake pad will feel brake pad tak makan langsung, but those used to standard 300C brake pad, the Bosch provides similar performance. Braking not too makan but it quite suited me somehow. Unlike the more makan brake pad, I doubt this brake pad is going to makan the disc plate, so usually no skimming needed even after long time.
Honda City original nissin brake pad provide exactly the same feel.
HOWEVER there are 2 cialat issue with this bosch pad...
1. Produced brake dust like nobody business. Those who like black rim, no need to change rim wan, leave it a couple of weeks, garanteed black as hell...only no shiny.
2. Noise...this brake pad was main suspect in lots of noise issue like creaking when start/stop, turning wheel while idle, etc. Not acceptable. So..if it turns out the brake pad is one of the cause of the darn irritating loud noises...it just have to go.
Anyway, still have lots of brake dust. However, after using ONR to clean the rims found out that the dust don't stick too much on the rims. Previously, after 1 week the rims will be dark colour already.
hi guys, is it normal when engine start, then turn ON aircond, engine sound will roughly increase, the aircond compressor is too loud..yesterday my 1st service, i inform SC, then they check n said it normal coz campro engine memang bunyi kuat..is it true?
Yeap.. When the compressor kicks in u can hear the engine is a lot harsher than normal..

Nope only installed in tire shop.. U have to buy from accessory shop.. Normally those big accessory shop will provide installation for u too.. My paint brand is Alesco leh.. Based on the sticker on the car..

Ffffuuuuu compressor is sanden, system ia patco. Rojak nye.
Rojak then only our car aircon can be so cool mah.. haha.. The compressor is from Sanden, but the aircon management system is Patco.. its 2 different things.. Like ur car engine is Campro but ECU is Continental..

The paint will be about the same la.. cos they mix the paint before spraying. The colour will be the same.

sound is not a big deal for me...already use to it after 1 month... go for filter n spark plug 1st...sooner or later when u go fast u will think change break pad!! breaking force sucks ...damn dirty !!!

LOLZ!!! thn my car would weigh a tonne. no offence guys... but there's stg that i m curious. Civic 1.5 is fitted with rear disc brake. Persona 1.6 no rear disc brakes. no safety in mind for our proton cars.

unfortunately .... myvi ....and vios is still more commonly seen in penang... try looking for your car (if u r driving a silver myvi) after work in the parking lot.... hahaha its gonna be challenging

Initially I also tot the bosch brake pad sucks big time. Then after it settled in after a few hundred km, its turns out to be ok for normal avg non rev driver.
Those used to 500C brake pad will feel brake pad tak makan langsung, but those used to standard 300C brake pad, the Bosch provides similar performance. Braking not too makan but it quite suited me somehow. Unlike the more makan brake pad, I doubt this brake pad is going to makan the disc plate, so usually no skimming needed even after long time.
Honda City original nissin brake pad provide exactly the same feel.
HOWEVER there are 2 cialat issue with this bosch pad...
1. Produced brake dust like nobody business. Those who like black rim, no need to change rim wan, leave it a couple of weeks, garanteed black as hell...only no shiny.

Civic 1.5 90k. PE 1.6 H-line 60k. U buy H line sure get disc brake also.

That's because they're trying to cut cost mah. The Vios J also no rear disc brakes. But yes, I do agree that they should make disc brakes as a standard throughout the range.

I try few time On and OFF the sound are same. The sound are scary me, but this moning i am not notice this, any one having this sound before. 
One thig i notice the last 2 tank of petrol my FC improved around 0.5L/km but performance not effected, i am very worried it was the earlier sign of fuel pump GG 
They think their car is small ah, can cilok here cilok there.
i still miss it.
