Driving @120km/h on fast lane, got Mitsubishi Lancer GT 2.0 white, he go mid lane then i ma press and drive, didnt notice he tailgate me after i cut him then i go mid lane, in front my lane got 1 gold gti red color then i slowdown he also follow behind me, when i press brake lightly he go fast lane and speed off, then okay lor since midnight i chase see see lor, when i go mid lane he was 50m away from me d... nvm la then just use gear 4 @140km/h then change 5th gear and go lor then saw him, duno what car blocked him, then i take 1st lane cut through due to mid lane ada car, he also squeeze come mid lane and nearly kena me but hald of my car body in front of him d, then no fark i press to max till 180km/h pass the corner which can turn to R&R... after that no see him le... think he dun wan chase d gua or maybe dun wan play with my lapsap car. Reach home took only <20mins @@

I smell in the very near future Persona is going to get CVT too.. As we all know how sucky our car FC is.. But then if CVT were to be installed.. Forget about turbocharging it.. Only can use NA..

opps..now saga running 6 speed. i assumed it is nissan's tech. if previously the nissans not having problem with CVT then the probability of saga having CVT problem will be lesser lah. but to compared proton driver and nissan driver that rev their car, ermmm...speechless.

Oic.. I tested the Slyphy last time.. Damn that transmission.. press press like no kick.. But it will hold the revs and the speed will rise gradually only.. But the Latio hatch that car transmission feels like its even more laggy than Persona.. U cant feel any power at all..
He is in Xan's 'shoes' now.. so always belakang mari.. 

lol...if wanna run with xan's 159 need stage 2 turbo kit liao lor. stage 1 only get around 170hp. stage 2 can get 230hp. wow. the torque and the hp. but i realised that persona got less people mod compared to gen 2 and satria neo. lol. not to say useless lah the lokatoo. will still be able to help.

But the previous time when i drove the Inspira and Lancer GT, it didnt feel like the Sylphy, u can see the revs climbing and dropping as well as the gearchange.. Mb they activate the ala Saga FLX SAT system fulltime.

Ur case seems to be rather similar with one of our forumers here, except urs is much milder case.
The squeky sound tell them to tightened the undercarriage for u.. It should solve the prob..
Crank shaft angle sensor I presume? That has been one huge problem for Persona in the past.. Didnt know it still was creating problem now.

maybe after boost kick in still same speed unless going for higher boost. i asked b4. he said turbo is not necessary about power. for the low torque car with lag like campro if low boost say 0.3can help to get even better fc than normal one. he told me when i asked about the fc increase. hahahaha~~he also said that i will be able to maintain the same fc with increase in power.

so one of ur piston got problem lor. seriously i will say this. normally this things wont just spoil like that. i assume that there will be symptoms. the problem lies at whether ur mechanic at the SC identified it for you. My SC always checked for the piston, piston ring and other. this is bcoz i am always late for my service for minimum 2k. Still they checked it for me. because it is common that a car breaks down. even mercedes burnt down on the highway. i saw one. new c-class somemore. and that person is standing metres away looking at the fire eating his car up. btw besides this u have any other problem with ur car?? dun lose confident lah. persona still nice to drive mah.

I believe you might have been running in Sport Mode. When in this mode, lancer/inspira CVT will simulate 6-speed auto tranny to over-ride the standard CVT programming and offer the "rev" feel and pulling power.

Thats the main reason you can feel gear change just like auto tranny. If you're running in the usual "D" drive mode, there is NO gear change feel....becoz there is no locked range of gear ratio like the auto tranny. The gear ratio will just creep up without any rpm dropping or gear change lags. Thats the true CVT working.

I can't remember abt lancer or inspira modes but for Honda City CVT, there are 3 modes of CVT drive. The usual standard FC based "D" Drive, the 7-speed auto mode simulating auto tranny and the 7-speed manual mode allowing manual shifting using the shift button or in case of Lancer, paddle shift stick.

will be i suppose. but the cost wont be low. so it wont be that fast. also scare that it void warranty. still got 1+year of warranty to go.
hmm...i tot engine normally harder to start during cold. i think they misunderstood u. the car is a low compression engine itself. does your car feel less powerful before that happen??
tats a news. din really ask. coz havent think about charging to stage 2 yet. i still think there is auto trans that can tahan torque. maybe slightly expensive.
hahahaha~~i still think it depends on individual preference. i like the control in manual but i lazy to drive manual with the clutch. lol. driving auto nice but the power loss is higher. so it depends on wat u wan actually. but i think u should get the manual. might help when your brake cant function fully. coz the brake pump is smaller and only h-line get a bigger pump with abs and ebd.

no difference for me. when i want speed, pedal to the floor. but the only things is when i release the throttle it shift up all the way and when i step full again the downshift is where i lost power again.

but my full throttle always shift in 6.5k one oh. 7k is overrev edi. red zone.
auto is losing the power throughout the revving cause the ecu is deciding whether to shift in or not. hahaha~~
6k only ah..somemore got promotion. but he got tell u how long it takes mah??

change your 1st mod into turbocharging XD. get all things together.

u should go back to the salesman and get another one. tell him u will bring it to court XD. how can a salesman that get commission be like tat. According to law is that ur things should be new.

The only thing that's still left behind in my PE is the ECU AFR tuning done by Proton. My PE's FC is slightly higher than most stock PEs, but the gearchange from 3rd to 4th gear is usually delayed until 6.4-6.5k rpm & torque comes in at lower RPM for town driving.

so trick is dun always fnf...then dun let the ecu learn it! can save fc...
but ur normal way of driving is how save 1st? share more a bit...like change gear damn early or not over certain spped limit?

Difference is, ur car got auto cruise. Mine is simply pedal feel. And I also stopped by in Ipoh for a while, get trapped in minor jams & rolled around looking for food around 30-40 KMs before hitting the highway again. Not to mention the pasu bunga rims that I've swapped from hammie

Old road are usually narrow & lorries/trailers use it to avoid highway toll, so I guess u're travelling at 90-100 most of the time?
