So it's safe to say his car sure kena tapau if u can supercharge or BOT a VTEC?
I can show u at least a dozen examples of cars that can tapau Evos back to their factory in Japan. RX-8 1.3 enough d. Rotary engine. NA. Do some light tunings, easily 300 WHP. The next AE86 replacement, dubbed the FT-86/Scion FRS will come with a 2.0L NA Boxer engine making an upwards of 200 HP. If he's got a different opinion about this, don't go telling me that it's because RX-8 is using rotary engine bla bla bla. The comparison now is BoT/SC vs NA.
Based on the statements he made I can tell that he's a person who is only concerned about straight line speed. Not really. I know of normal 1.6 NA engines that are tuned to produce well over 150-170 WHP. It's possible. Not really. In my PE last time, the total performance mods only comes up to about RM4k (this I exaggerate, real figure around RM2-3k). If I were to install Hi-Cam, ACP, injector kits, fuel rail & standalone ECU (assuming that it would work with our stock ECU), there's extra RM 8-10k. So RM 14-15k for a performance that could rival 2.0 and above cars, why not?
And how much would it cost to BoT a car? RM 7-11k depending on kits & tunings, and this usually doesn't include the turbo exhaust system & extra ECU. Also be prepared to spend around RM 500-1k to fine tune the ECU. Gauges for turbo engine? U'll be surprised. Some ppl spend up to RM 3-5k on them. Boost gauge, temp gauge, etc etc. An engine transplant (Evo) would be even more expensive, given that MIVECs and Evo engines are currently quite hard to come by now. And with engine transplant, usually u'll need a matching gearbox & gear ratio as well. There goes another chunk of cheese. Seriously eat maggi & die liao. Dude, I need the full amount by today, is it possible? My phone line kena bar again liao. Sien lan dou. Ur specs terbalik la bro. Alloy + tyre = ~9kg. Steel (pasu bunga) + tyre = ~14kg. Alloy & steel both PCD114.3.
hmm...still love the AE86 in initial d with the 1.6 that can produce 240bhp. damn.

i assume auto is like that. the computer detect the speed also. with 3/4 throttle when my car is very heavy and the speed gain is slower than usual, the gear shift will be later. but when the car is light with only me on board it will shift up earlier since it is edi going at the power enuf to let the next gear pull the car. full throttle all will shift just at the 6500rpm. hahahaha~~is not bcoz u put it D,3,2,1. its the amount of accelerator lah. hahaha~~auto is like tat.

no such thing in persona. the auto lock will be when u press the unlocked button on your car then within approx 30sec u din open the door only then it will auto rearm.

if uphill sure the gear will upshift more late than usual drive..but on flat road,i press 3/4 throttle oso can go to above 5k rpm then juz shift gear..uphill to genting oso same..tats why i'm wonder why it dun wan upshift more lately lo..

Creaking is normal !!!! Sure or not, I know those sound appears years later, only recently in my over 5 years old City and still not there yet in 2.5 years old Civic.
For normal auto, it usually appear in the morning, when its wet or something but for my PE, its creaking (yes...the kraak kraak sound), so loudly EVERY SINGLE TIME I do start stop, at traffic light, jams, at any time, wet or dry...
Still wondering if its the brake pad or not...so if anyone after changing brake pad, kraak kraak sound as mentioned by Xandras, disappear, please comment, so I can identify if it is the pad that cause it.

Confirm rear brake pad smaller wan...most cars with rear disc pad also smaller wan....
hmm...i never had this sound with stock pad also. it only happen when my pad is getting old.
FC slightly higher, but otherwise satisfactory performance

Either way if u go too lean or rich it'll cause pollution I'm still looking for stock PE/Gen2 dyno to get the exact factory AFR.. Stoich AFR should be 14.7.
oo..this thing is set by the ECU??hahaha~~sry so noob here.

Ur car brake no noise cos 4 disc brakes & u have EBD. M/B line braking usually got creaking noise because the brake force isn't distributed evenly (mostly to the front), and this noise is further amplified when the brake pads are still cold in the morning.
