@chcher

What you mean by the postage is confirmed at RM280? This applicable even if getting 1/2 kits?
*
currently there is a new customs calculation for the shipping charges is fixed at rm280.

so the rm500 limit - rm280 = rm220 for your jerseys/items.
please be warned.
i believe it's been discussed before.

hi guys, i recently bought a new liverpool home jersey sized, junior 13/14 year or junior L from adidas store.

i have a concern, the jersey have an extra tag behind. i ask this question to the store promoter, but she doesn't seems like know anything about it.
i checked other adidas store and also al ikhsan with the same size, there is no tag behind. anyone have any idea on this?

I saw the jerseyman posted about it a while ago, didn't really noticed it.
So Kitbag UK are doing this for UPS delivery..hmm....like that won't be much difference if buying at retail.

I have bought 2 kits from chelseamegastore early July but as I read, it's not impacted since they are using DHL. Is that the case?

as far as im aware DHL doesnt adopt that calculation. So far only UPS.

And from a fellow forummer here, appears if delivered to Penang, also wont kena. All other cases the result is about the same. Then again you never know KB may change again their practice.

Thanks for the info. But this is only impacting for UPS and not on normal postage from KB right?

normal postage unlikely, but that doesnt mean wont kena. Just that normal postage, there is no requirement to declare shipping information etc and customs unlikely to check unless there is a dead giveaway from the appearance of the parcel alone. So far not heard anyone using normal post being taxed, CMIIAW.

Anyway, as we all know, normal mail is without tracking and chances of shirt missing is always there. Some shirts are one off and there may not be ready replacement if the original shirt is lost.

Hello forumers, sorry I don't regularly post here, because I never had a real replica jersey before. But now, I just had my own Arsenal 2011/2012 Away Long Sleeve Replica Jersey! Fresh from UK! biggrin.gif I tried to search for the long sleeve of the away kit here at Al-Ikhsan and other sports boutiques, but I couldn't find one. So luckily I found this person who's doing these replica jersey business, and I straight away placed an order!

I've read through the first page of this thread and I find it very useful in taking good care of the jersey. Are there any extra info on taking care of this thing? Thanks in advance!

bro,

1. please refrain from double posting. If someone knows the answer or is able to help, he or she will do so.

2. at times there are no straight forward answers. i just feel that you have bought an item from an authentic Adidas outlet, that itself is an indication of authenticity of the shirt, nothing to worry about. As for what is that tag, I am sure you can read the labels? Different batches of manufacture, different countries of production etc could affect minor differences in labelling / tags etc. I am not sure if we can give you any better answer than that. The proper person to ask would then be Adidas themselves. They can put in 2 tags, 4 tags, 9 tags all they want as it is their product, anf it is stil authentic. Im not trying to be sarcastic, but just pointing out that there really isnt any answer to that question in my opinion anyway.

just my 2 cents, i stand corrected.

PS: To Faiz in reading, perhaps FAQ can amend to include the UPS postage issue? No worries it is not illegal as there is no discussion on avoiding tax. It is just a reminderto interested purchasers to know the tax limit in planning their purchases. If not the question will be brought up again and again - i think in this thread alone half the messages are on the UPS tax issue tongue.gif

Cheers

This would be useful even for me who purchased and used UPS before. It's not until nimrod mentioned it that I understand that you have written it before a few pages back.

lol, nope, you can be sarcastic all you want i don't really care, after all the reason i posted here is just to clear out my confuse. tongue.gif so don't worry about it.
but if anyone know the reason/answer on this, do reply, im just so curious to know, cuz as i mentioned, i checked, most of the shops don't have this tag. and i do checked the manufacture country as well. [unless i missed out something] oh and, adidas ppl can't give me answer. sweat.gif

I bought my Junior away kit from UK and it has the same washing tags. I think all Junior kits have them. The jerseys you saw in Al-Ikhsan might have been the adult kits therefore do not have this extra tag.

As to why, no idea at all.
