hi, u can try download "GPS Test" from Market with this apps u are able to see how many satellite your S2 hooked up.
if u wish to try GPS with map, perhaps u can try Google Maps with GPS turn on.
if u need better navigation GPS Maps u can try papagoX5.. but the filesize is around 800MB i think u need to download overnight already .

have u figure out how to sync ur omnia contact with SGS2?

oh come on la, i've just posted the short guide.... post no 515

in ur old omnia there is a folder name contact...just copy the file into ur sdcard and transfer to ur SGS2.open contact in SGS2, press menu button (left side home button) and import contact, import from sd car and import all vcard.wallaa...i managed to retrieve all my 510 contact into SGS2 with ease   (after a week figuring how without transfer to outlook and sync with gmail then sync to SGS2)

USE K-9 Mail - and in setting set it to have mail remain on phone even when deleted from mail server. Search Topic K-9 Mail I have listed several adavnatges using this mail app several pages back
