Yes I understand. I am also a noob just like anybody when I started to learn about root/flashing etc. My difference with some other users is I have an interest and passion and I do a lot of googling/research myself. Forum XDA was just like my another home !!! Another difference I am not the K-K type - I always dare to try new stuffs even though is still alpha stage

What irritates me is that many new users never bother to even read page 1 and PM me questions showing very obviously they don't even know a page 1 exists. I,  and I believe many users here appreciate all questions if the user has done  some initial research or to quote one forumer " self educate" himself first. This is the purpose of an official thread where the TS try to help by posting useful info in the first few pages for easy reference.

I being the TS is not a professional writer nor an expert. If after reading the page 1, any stuff a new user is not clear - asking questions to clarify is always welcome. All the posts in Page 1,  I frequently update it when I find users misunderstand or there are better answers. I get many PM about the different roms because I tested most of them - but the problem is obviously many new users  did not even bother reading up the roms and ask me questions like - which is best rom ?? Is rom ABC better than DEF ?? What is Odin, where to download ? Do I need to wipe cache - don't wipe, can or not ? , what is kernel ? what is recovery, what is download mode etc , what is latest rom etc

my honest opinion, go with a good case. You wont regret it. My thoughts are, you have already spend 2000 grand on such an expensive phone...why not spend another 100 bucks protecting it?

Look at it this way, let's say you spend 100 bucks on a case, it;s about only 27 cents a day to protect your phone for 1 yr .

I'm personally using a casemate tough casing. no regrets.
