QUOTE(JusticeDeserves @ Jul 13 2011, 12:36 PM) Uncle Benny, was checking *#0*# went to sensor and they said that the magnetic thing need to be calibrated. I went to Gyro and Horizontal and its fine but is there anything to be worried about? Just go download the free app "Compass" . Launch it and it will prompt you to wave the phone in figure 8. Do it few times - check your compass the direction - if is working should be okYou can test again *#0*# myou should not see the warning message anymore |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jul 13 2011, 11:11 AM) Why not ? I pay for all my apps . I never use those blackmarket apps. Android apps are not expensive. It is an egg and chicken situation. If developers are not supported, do you think they will still continue to improve their apps ? After all, the apps are not expensive ranging RM 3 to 10 mostly. I used to be involve in programs development for several years with my IT staffs and I do understand the amount of work/effort , pain and headache they go through especially when comes to debugging. Using apps without paying is just plain simple stealing intellectual property. Those practicing it is just as guilty as a petty thief. +1 I know of many users who are so proud loudly proclaiming they don't pay for apps when they can get it free. They think they are very smart , which infact they are not. One day, probably their children could be involve in programs/software development and they will feel the pain when their children cannot cari makan as all their efforts are just being pirated and stolen away That's y i left the FB Android Development Groups , mostly Msian and LYN members ...... They feel having cracked/free apps is ok . The comment i got from them is " why pay when there are free ones " This post has been edited by Noobi3: Jul 13 2011, 01:09 PM |

QUOTE(cjxs @ Jul 13 2011, 12:24 PM) I suggest once you made the purchase clear you payment method just in case. i.e don save it as the default payment to avoid unitentional purchase. yes, ideally, clear the ccard info... add back when needed. that way, there's no way you can get charged for in-apps billing/ payments/ purchases. |

QUOTE(pluginbaby @ Jul 13 2011, 01:52 PM) QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Jul 13 2011, 01:55 PM) thanks for the suggestions... will try them out and see which one i like more...but honestly, i would have thought that a simple txt file would have been easy to open. BT the txt file from notebook over to sgs2 and was suprised when i could not edit it -- could only open and view it either on browser or polaris. in the end, used browser so i could select text and copy to memo. that's when i noticed i could not save memo to home screen. *sigh* Added on July 13, 2011, 2:15 pm QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Jul 13 2011, 01:09 PM) +1 but one thing good i noticed is... these days... there are free and paid version of the same apps. free usually will have ads inside. paid will have ads removed. so people can choose. i think that's good. dowan ads, pay a bit lor...
