your IC address is at putrajaya or not?

if you are somehow 'sent' to putrajaya even though IC address is at subang, then possibly SPR purposely did that to pad the no.s of voters in putrajaya.

my sister got the same problem in 2003, she was regitered by Wanita UMNO during a campaign at surau, her name was at Senai Johor, 30 km from where her address on IC was listed.

we had to go to SPR and asked for her name to be transferred back to her home address on IC.

so be careful if you register through political parties.

and that is another one of Bersih's objectives, bersihkan daftar pemilih!

1. go to JPN

2. ask JPN to make new mykad becoz changed address to semenanjung

3. pay RM10

4. collect new Mykad 1 week later

5. bring new mykad with new address in semenanjung to SPR or post office with SPR link

6. ask to change voting place according to new IC address in semenanjung.

7. 3 months later check if name and address is now changed to new voting place in semenanjung.

hendak seribu daya, tak hendak seribu alasan.

would you believe me if i said that if you go to JPN putrajaya and apply for new mykad,

go in the morning and tomorrow they asked you to come pick it up?

for other places, in week your mykad is probably eady as well?

the only lengthy process is to change the address, not because SPR is lousy, bu because according to law it takes 3 months to verify the voter's list and any changes can only be made official in 3 months time (4 times per year).
