..maybe its the bluetooh radios and usb 3.0 driver....but not so sure la.. I am curious about the missing driver...so i use system restore to revert all the system...and now my pc working normally.btw sifus, i did install the latest catalyst but when i re-run assesment on wei, my processor went down to 5.9? before i install the catalyst my processor index was 6.5....sifus...what is happening to my lappy? hehe

Check on the catalyst, on the Power section, should have the control for CPU speed...

am i suppose to maximum the cpu speed? btw lee, i use system restore just now...so i got my old catalyst driver...I'm really curious about the missing driver, so i decide to do those action.... (now, im in the middle of chosing whether i should install the catalyst 11.8 or not...fear of the missing driver again..)

Installing the 11.8 shouldn't give you missing driver..
You can just install it on top of your existing driver. No need to uninstall it.

Added on September 4, 2011, 11:49 pmoh my..i forgot to copy the catalyst 11.8 from the idm directiory. all files that ive downloaded today were sweep by sys restore...but it ok..i can download it next time....thanks again sifus...

No more missing hardware?

Sweet oc'ed score from HP DV6z with A8-3500.


Will be much more sweet if the APU able to do the same thing with mainstream games.

That score looks quite similar to that of an i7-2630QM pair with a GTX560M.

Indeed.. for laptop that cost just over $550, that is a good score.

If only them geniuses at AMD didn't discard Asymmetric Crossfire support for DirectX 9 it would be perfect. Also the incomplete/buggy driver kinda ruin it too.

Have anyone tried using RadeonPro with these laptops? Maybe it can force asymmetric crossfire somehow?
