QUOTE(Acid_RuleZz @ Sep 4 2011, 11:36 AM) For the display driver download this Catalyst 11.8 and install everything. Refer here on which software u can/should remove to improve overall system response. Added on September 4, 2011, 12:56 pmSomething regarding ULPS.. copy-pasta from http://lair360.co.uk/blog/1044/how-to-reso...firex-problems/» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « How to resolve CrossfireX problems
For individuals who took advantages of ‘CrossfireX’ technology, then you will need to be careful, especially your second GPU. Nevertheless, the person who developed ‘ULPS’ technology (save power consumption), he / she should be sued! This feature causes instability, freezing and crashes to your system. It will also make your second GPU unusable. Therefore, if you want to keep ‘CrossfireX’ running normally, then you must disable ‘ULPS’ and examine both cards for any faults. This is crucial if you want to avoid BSOD and severe damage to your system.
Disable ‘ULPS’ – Registry Edit —————————————– 1.] Click Start >> Run >> Type: Regedit 2.] Look for this directory… HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\…
3.] Look for these folders. They are situated as numbers: 0000 / 0001 / 0003. The actual directory should also look like this…
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0000\…
Notes: if you have more than three folders, then you will only need to change this string: “EnableUlps”.
Set 1 to enable ULPS Set 0 to disable ULPS i aready download it. i think i face a problem la...

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Sep 4 2011, 02:52 AM) It is not 6720G. It is 6520G. It is cross-fired with Radeon 6470. It will become 6540G2. If you study the actual performance, you'll find that the cross-fire is virtually not working. Besides, refer to the earlier page, the discrete Radeon 6650 could not even perform as good as her sibling Radeon 5650 (by specs, Radeon 6650 should be better). Therefore, it is possible that the cross-fire would not even deliver the performance near Radeon 6470. It could be driver issue after all. So should i buy the the b940 with gt 520m instead of a43ta? Better pricing and more stable perfomance?
