I kind of doubt Meireles is one of his rejects. If hes one of the rejects why would he want to take the risk to buy him?

One more thing you neglect. Meireles has more CL experience compare to Arteta. And Meireles is 1 year younger than Arteta. Yes Arteta does have the capability to create beautiful passes but let's not forget what Meireles did to us last season? I believe that's a bargain buy and let's just watch what he can offer us.

On the other hand, Villa cannot pray-pray now with Jenas on-loan and landed Hutton permanently. Another Everton-ish team in the making (CL team that is).

AVB already said he was impressed with Sturridge during pre-season that's why Kakuta was loaned out to Bolton to prove his quality. If is CA still on the hotseat, I think it's Kakuta time to shine and Sturridge still have to endure another season of being loan out to other club because CA fancy Kakuta than Sturridge. So Sturridge definitely getting more chance and of course let's hope McEachran will also get as many appearance Sturridge does.

And really, enough with the complaining and stuff. Transfer window closed, everything is set. Before the player even perform and play for the blues, some people here already complain like he had played 20 games and all he did was sh1t at the ball and not contributing. Another issue that amused me is that why you want to hate the player in the first place? Just because he came from the club you hate the most? That's biased judgement to even begin with and do you think you can give neutral comment towards the transfer?

The players we loan and players we captured was good imo. I actually fancy to see Benayoun to shine in Chelsea too bad the injury really caused a setback. He is one of the better player if not the best in all department, a.k.a versatile player. It's really a shame for us not to see him more in blue shirt. We used 12million pound to capture a previous FPA and with CL experience. I really do think it's a good bargain. He could give AVB alot of option on the selection.

p.s: Shebby Singh is Spurs fan. He despise every other club in BPL. But he need to be kissing some club's bekside cause he's a pundit. Who would want a biased pundit?
