agreed with master cloudwan, i wont go for MSI GD65 as well, ASUS M5A97 PRO/EVO would be a better choice, at least for me. smile.gif

hello there, I'm planning to build a rig but thinking whether want to grab 6300 or 6350 , on tight budget.

most probably choose ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 as mobo, what are the diff between 6300 and 6350 ? can just take 6300 and OC to the clock speed of 6350 ? will it provide the same performance?

Here's a comparison between them..

Yup technically yes u can oc the FX6300 to FX6350 speed, it shouldnt be a problem.. but at the same time the FX6350 do however has a better oc milage iianm.. hmm.gif

better oc mileage (ram, cpu-nb & cpu), less volt needed, better power consumption. if ur not super bad luck (in gettin a lemon chip), pile driver >>> bulldozer anytime... smile.gif

6350 with MSI 970A-G43
good go ?
if budget is limited, is value ram okay for the build?
didn't plan to get GC that soon, might use my old 9800GT .
how many watt PSU I should get?
am I asking too much? Hahaha
Thanks in advance anyway ! biggrin.gif

as much as i love msi, i'd still go for ASUS for AMD at least. have u checked d price of ASUS 970 series?

as for PSU go for more established brand if possible. if ur not gettin super high end GC 520~620watter should be more than enough. PSU & mobo are 2 important component for stable setup so i wont mind spending a 'lil more even if budget is tight. ram u can opt for any value ram... if u have d time to go hunt shop by shop mebe can target kingston kvr... if luck is with u mebe u can grab a pair with hynix chipset? tongue.gif

Asus 970 is 3xx , another 100+ extra for the mobo .
hynix chipset? what's that? how to differentiate the chipset ?
shop hunt ? lowyat?
the price of mobo , processor on LYN is much cheaper than the price list in lowyat. where should I get the product.

If able to do well then I will get it as reward for myself.

Zhenwei's shop is Ideal Tech.

Either way, Ideal Tech or APES and you can't go wrong. Besides them, there are other reputable sellers around town too.

It really depends on which location you're at. If you're not in Klang Valley then I believe all of them also do postage.
