yah just download.. confuse la, it's refers to which voltage..
i disable LLC for cpu-nb.. so it will fix on 1.35v..
cpu still on auto.. so far priming is ok.. @ 1.45v..

i want to push also.. cpu temp already 70+..
my noctua sudah tua la.. 

what cooler is good ar ah khoo...

ya by looking on the temp while loading.. seems like hard to tame..

me on deneb now so power saving mode on... tried 4.0ghz before for 24/7 but it was just too much for air cooling....

Added on March 26, 2012, 4:38 pmforgot to mention. when i'm using lower divider ram, lower cpu-nb clock, lower HT link, the proc still need a high voltage to run any bench.

3.7Ghz 1.45Vcore
3.8Ghz 1.48-1.49Vcore
3.9Ghz 1.49-1.51 still crash/ BSOD, cannot run any 3dmark bench and wPrime

UEFI la nice.. this is the first asus' budget mobo which is stable i've ever owned..
but still bios have minimal cosmetics bugs..

and i notice near PWM there freaky hot ler.. should i blow with fan?
but mobo temp still ok..

on the same setup as winova
mobo : MSI 990FXA GD65
ram : KHX 2133C9 (KHX T1)
proc : phenom II X4 945 C3 Deneb
PSU : ST56F


objective : to find the limit of this ram speed at low Cas Latency (CL)
all other clock (proc, cpu-nb, HT link) running at lower speed.
i set the ram at 1600 CL 7-7-7 @1.56Vdimm-1.656Vdimm, it won't boot
got warning at post screen

i'm tired of waiting due to slow boot from this mobo.
after many try and error, adding voltage, loose the timing, i only can boot into windows
at 1600 CL8-8-8 @ 1.656Vdimm. CL7-8-7,7-9-7 cannot boot even at 1.69vdimm

at 1800 CL9, it wont boot at all after pushing some vdimm.
this module used to work perfect on intel rig (my friends rig, i borrowed this module from him)
(SB i5K + asrock Z68 Fatal1ty) running at 2133 CL9-11-9 @1.65Vdimm


maybe this ram not compatible with my setup. the other one is KHX Genesis 2133C10


this ram behavior is almost the same as KHX T1.
for my AMD setup, the winova 2GbX2 perform better, can set 1600 CL7-7-7 at 1.605Vdimm.
both KHX cannot even boot at CL7 @1.656Vdimm. since they cannot boot at CL7 (1600Mhz),
so i think i'll stick to winova. cannot afford too buy PSC/ BBSE stick module..

the only problem i have so far, i think my proc is not a good chip. i'm gonna hunt a thuban or zosma core
the limit and score for the proc (Deneb 945) almost similar from this MSi 990FXA GD65
and my previous mobo Asus M4A87TD/USB3

wish i can get any 96X BE or 960T

u know what.. it might be coz of the IMC..
one thing that u need to know when clocking amd..
some cpu n mobo convenient with certain multi or divider..
this is the beauty of overclocking amd..

which means.. there are alot of variable involve..
u can't just select 1 htt or cpu multi to get the best results..

don't make this 'alot of setting work' to set your mind as hard task..
every inch of value in the bios is useful..
make it positive.. this is how the OCer gain their knowledge beside readings..
so happy tweaking..

oh man, still remember pushing the s754 to the limit with very tight ram timing with the crappy mobo..
nowadays mobo much more tolerance wise.. if failed can just switch off.. bios will reset.. last time need jumper man.. and some can't even boot with the same RAM!!!

the problem now I think boils down to:

1) your proc
2) ram chips not playing nice with your proc

btw, dont get a new proc just for that OC comp, you might as well just save money and see how PD will perform when it comes out

wow winova 2gb stick perform better with thuban core (zosma 960T)
2100 CL9-9-9 @ 1.648Vdimm is quite good to me. will stress them tomorrow.
maybe 1.648vdimm not enough to run at that speed...

btw , my bios dont have a option M.I.T

i think this is good enough for me . because it make me confuse at my bios .

i run orthos at 10 minutes and no alarm warning me with 220mhz . then when i increase to 225mhz and load window test with orthos at 2 minutes  the alarm warning me and temp like 67c to 70c, so i decrease to 224mhz .. so i think this is my cpu high limit with stock cooler .

if what im doing is wrong . please help me . btw, me so confuse what im doing . and im thinking about update my bios . then i search at many web and can`t download it because link is dead.
