i'm being offered an RF Engineer position in Singapore, quite happy about it, then the company further proceed to help me apply for EP and i just resigned from current company as the hiring company is not willing to pay off for my 2 months notice and I would really like to avoid paying that from my own pocket.

But a week later my EP application is rejected. I don't get it, i resigned with such confident is because my gf who is just graduated from the same course same uni with no working experience, her application is approved like immediately while i'm holding the same degree with 2 years working experience but rejected.

Currently my hiring company is helping me to appeal, really hope everything goes well.

If anything happen (touch wood touch wood!) is there anything i can do to fight for my case?

I am in Telco field, my salary is slightly above the requirement. man... how about other passes that i can apply instead?? and what are the disadvantage?

When your company submitted the appeal for you, will it shown in the website when u check your status? Or is there an update on the application date or everything there will remain the same until there’s further approval?

My application is on 13th July and rejected on 20th July. I am guessing my company submitted the appeal around 22nd, how many working day is there for them to give u a reply?

Really?? Now I'm really worry. My hiring company is a china company who is a giant in telcomuunication field, in malaysia they always import in their engineer from china and asking them to work under visitor pass before applying actual working pass, so i'm scare that the same thing happened in singapore and causing bad reputation

My application is on 13/7 - rejected
First appeal 22/7 - no update.
I just check with the HR and she mentioned there's no update from MOM yet and in my application status the application date is still remain as 13/7.
My gf's application went tru within 3 days of submission, may be it is because her hiring company is a US MNC with good reputation while mine is a china MNC.
now i'm so worry, eat, sleep or shit also feel uneasy, so torturing,

man!! my EP appeal is already submitted for 3 weeks but no news yet!! this is so killing me! does anyone know what are the chances for me to get the EP successfully?? This is taking much longer than I thought.

mine is above 2800 but can't get EP just curious, if my salary range is at EP range possible for me to apply S Pass? is S pass easier to obtain than EP?

hi all, need some opinion from you all.

my EP appeal is already sent for almost 4 weeks but no news yet, so basically i'm not putting much hope on that already and started looking for other job. (and to be positive i might stand a chance because all rejected appeal came back pretty fast)

So far i had another interview and i did rather well (hope i didnt get the wrong impression) so now i'm wondering, if i were to offer another position what should i do as my EP is still in appeal status.

now i'm worrying if i were to void the appeal and accept others, my current hiring company (the one that help me appeal) will think that this is done very unprofessionally as i already accepted their offer and they even fight for my ep application appeal.

mind that i'm working in a field which rather small, i really don hope to spoil my reputation but at the same time i cant just wait here doing nothing.

I am in telecommunication, doing RF optimization. The previous company told me that there's no reason given for my rejection which I find it a bit odd but some dai kor here once tell me that it is possible for no reason to be given for rejection.

however my salary is slightly higher than the EP qualification (even for the new scheme that suppose to start on 2012) and i'm holding a degree which is recognize by Sg so i think it should be ok for my side but yet again anything can happen.

as for the new co, it is not exactly a bigger co because my current employer is quite a giant player in telco but it's from china (you might able to guess who), but the new co might have better reputation which makes me easier to masuk, so... i really dunno what to do man.
