Thats what i suspect too. He needs to leave SG inorder to get the total amount. Another thing is getting the EP itself, chances to getting it back is low considering the current situation. Having said that he does not need to contribute that monthly 1k for CPF which helps alot financially.
*
nono, u misunderstood his meaning, he said, if ur friend wanting to get back the CPF, he/she have to revert back his/her PR status and FOREVER CANNOT WORK IN SINGAPORE ANYMORE. There is a FOREVER word.

Hi,

Am very new to this forum. Pardon me if this is not the place to post this question. I am currently looking for a room to rent near boon lay mrt. Budget sgd500 including aircon and internet. Is this the market price for a single person at boon lay area?

Thank you.

Regards,
Fiona

I think that SGD500 normally dont include aircon, but then again, there are chances that u can find such room. Also, these days, the rental price hike.

the government actually promote indoor drying clothes rather than using pole. I tot most of the singapore HDB already equipping the latest indoor hanger? My house owner uses it.

Guys, how u feel on working in a company full of policies? Which mean u cannot do this, u cannot do that?

Recently i read bout big fish in small pond, and small fish in big pond. What if the small fish is in a big pond and only allowed to swim straight? Is this kinda company hard to work for?

MNC and well established companies are all having policies and well documented procedures.

Those companies without policies and procedures are basically those chinaman companies.

Can you imagine there are no employee handbook, company policies are verbally told by your bosses etc???? I have been into these kind of companies before and resigned after 2 weeks.
*
Well, having policy is good, but then again, if too much policies? Like for example, safety shoes, the company provide their own safety shoes, but when u wear it, ur legs hurts as every people have their own unique feet, so the only way is to opt for ur own safety shoes instead, but the company have policies saying tat u are not allowed to wear other brand safety shoes.

Also, i feel that sometimes having too much policies actually kill the idea of being creativity.

Another case is tat, i got a project, and i design a presentation slide which is very very very nice, but after i submit it for a review, they say i have to use the company slide which is 90% white back ground nth...

As we all know tat design for a presentation is very important, once with white background just kill the presentation
