Dear Sifus,

I have got some questions that I am sure most of you who are working in sg will be able to guide me.

I am a fresh grad working in a MNC in malaysia.
Now I am looking for opportunity in singapore. However, all those job postings I found in JObstreet and JObsDB will specify only PR or citizen.
For that matter, I am assuming they will not accept me even if I am good enough because I do not have PR nor citizenship.

How do I find companies that are willing to apply for working permit for me?

Advice please. Thanks smile.gif

Why dun try some listed companies or SME?
These companies takes in alot of non-pr malaysians.
MNCs at many of times being snapped up by singaporean and PR.

Hi Sifus,

I have question here.
I am planning to roll over to SG alone look for job until I get one. I expect myself to get a job within a month.
How do I find a room that will allow me to rent without any contract? just one month and bye bye..no commitment.
As economic as possible as I will be spending money ONLY and not making any money. Thanks!

I think is difficult to find a room just for a month unless u go through agent.

But when u go through agent, u need to pay 50% of your rent as agent fee which I see is not worth it as u r only staying for a month.

I see, do you have any suggestion on this? I am determined to get a job there.
